  1. I want to see PROOF from you guys of the transgressions or start another thread in General, or facebook, or anywhere else where we don't derail this one any more. I want to see it so I can stop associating with the people I do on that page if it is true, but HEARSAY is still hearsay and you need to give the people you are accusing things of the ability to debate you openly and fairly in a public forum. But I know not a single one of you would because baseless attacks is all you are good for and YES I've seen the reasons why you think what you do, but they are a witch hunt. You claim things, then run off into the night without ever backing them up and WE the other people are getting sick of hearing it. I got sick of it so much I finally stood up against some of you and instantly labeled as CBSI like a scarlet letter? The only labels you should have here are the ones in your slabs. Yep, still not allowed to post a book heating up but these guys can constantly spread lies about another site they hate, but I am a rebel and want to further the TRANSFORMERS pump so here are 2 moderns heating up on eBay. Lost Light #1 selling above $100 for the uber rare 1:50. I shared on my IDW thread here, and on CBSI that the Transformers books typically have a 6-10K print run, so a 1:50 will be a surefire hit with collectors looking to complete the variant sets. Niche market. My eBay is listed below for the pump/dump police, I have 2 copies enroute, 0 sold and none listed. Optimus Prime #1 1:50 also shares a Paul Pope Variant, also extremely hard to say how many will actually make it out, but again, a 6-10K print run and a 1:50 incentive. Again, my eBay is right here, I have a total of 5 copies coming, 3 in hand and have yet to list any as I am waiting for all orders to come in before deciding to grade or sell raw after picking my PC copies. Just want to contribute an actual book heating up with confirmed sales without Thomas, Simon or anyone else from the spec police flaming me. I read and post on CBSI, call me a scammer, a market manipulator all you want because I bought 1% or more of the total copies available of these books I mention and posted about it, and have 0 currently for sale.
  2. Indeed I did see the hardcover, and the freebie of course! The others that did not I am sure appreciate your sharing of the information.
  3. It couldn't have been at CoC shops down there. I don't think anything is on their wall for $25. They are very proud of their books. If you have a shop in Central Fla. Ultramagnus, I may have been there at one time. I am actually in Ft. Lauderdale atm (not sure if I am allowed to mention shops) anybody that knows of Lauderhill should know "the shop" and I'm surprised I even got it for that price! Thing is...don't think Tate was in Would love to come by your shop sometime though PM me. Thanks Not my store at all, I just get to dive in the millions of back issues and the warehouse one day a week as a "day off" from one of my 4 total jobs It's cool to work for a comic shop because I get to decorate the walls with key books, and concentrate on accurate market speculation by reading a ton of books. Plus the PC and eBay store doesn't suffer, and I collect high grade raws to grade later.
  4. I don't work for Coliseum, but I find your joke to be somewhat funny. They have been getting better. Despite the Checcetto Gamora being pumped here by Kevin really hard, and on eBay via pre-sales, I got my personal copy for $15 from there after a birthday card discount of $5.00. My local store that I work only Wednesdays at (New Book Day, Obviously) we do a set Ratio=Variant Price to make it as fair as possible week one. Week 2+ reserve the right to lower/raise.
  5. Funny, I sold A Guardians #1 Manara 1:50 off the shop wall that was $10 off at $25. Might have been me who sold that to you if it was Central Florida.

  7. The Deadpool is "THE ONE". I don't see it coming down anytime soon though with it being a strong seller, it has the $Memory$. But I will wish you good luck on finding one.
  8. UPDATE: 97 Hip Hop Covers in my collection with more on the way from previous week's pre-ordered releases! None right now are tough to find, while some remain expensive, the 1:100 All-new Inhumans sure has calmed down a bunch. Anyone else making way with this one? Anyone have a new favorite since the onslaught of new covers started to hit?
  9. Getting awfully political there using the words "Safe Space" Simon. I have no choice but to report you for it.
  10. That is the best post I've seen in a while. You win the internets today!
  11. i'll probably just do what I want, but feel free to respond to the point I made We know. CBT: "SPEC POLICE!!!! EVERYONE FREEZE YOUR SELLING! I 'm in charge here now" Rest of the forum: "Speculation cops everyone!" "Aw man, not this Comic Book Trends guy again, hide your dope comics, especially ones mentioned on a site that cannot be named without giving them more free publicity, and facing a fine/jail from the Spec Police. This rookie is on a hair trigger too, someone might get hurt by him." And I was going to share an actual book selling well on eBay, but I cannot seem to find the thread where that is allowed? Mods can you help me? I seem to be having trouble with this drek obstructing my flipping and or Pump/Dump capabilities.
  12. Pre-Selling copies still isn't in anyone's best interests, and can again result in the same scenario of cooling off once stores, wednesday warriors, and the mail order services have them in hand, we should see this too decline with undercutters an eBay. We are also talking about a title related to one of Marvel's most popular movies, that just dropped an epic trailer. This book should not be under-ordered or off radar like some other low print run books with a 1:25 incentive. I highly doubt any of these more recent 1:25's are the next Hughes Harley Quinn #1's
  13. Undercutting has begun. All the Wednesday warriors hitting the stores tomorrow are flooding the market, this one will eventually fall to less than the Campbell Variants. How many copies did you manage to line up there Kev? Posts got deleted so I can't confirm but weren't you the same poster who was ragging on me when I mentioned I thought Thunderbolts #7 1:25 Checchetto was overvalued and told me to suck it up and just buy the regular cover to read? Which I already had, by the way. That's a pretty interesting about face. Nothing about face at all. I am watching the market on pre-sales of variants pretty closely since I have to price books for my job. I told you to "suck it up" because it was ironic that you were complaining about a book being mentioned on another sites hot list of upcoming releases 3+ weeks prior to release, and then complained when it actually got hot at release, in a thread that people use to try and flip books on eBay. I like hot books too, but I don't complain they got hot, I try to get a deal and or wait for them to cool off or Marvel Variant Blowout Sales at $2.00 a pop. That is the difference between you and I.
  14. Undercutting has begun. All the Wednesday warriors hitting the stores tomorrow are flooding the market, this one will eventually fall to less than the Campbell Variants. How many copies did you manage to line up there Kev?
  15. That is what happens when pre-sellers (shillers too) try and gouge people by inflating the prices so much, they may get 1 or 2 sales, but as soon as a book ships and is in hand of others, the undercutting begins and people who presell try to not have returns, refunds, and customers with buyers remorse going directly to paypal behind eBay's back to get refunds. You cannot control the lemmings, but you also don't have to be that guy pre-selling and worrying about condition, then complaining when you don't get a 9.8 copy and have to tell your buyers. If all people here waited for book in hand before auction or listing, we would then see the market not get corrupted/manipulated.
  16. Thor 337? It's a joke, based on issues he has in quantity. Oh DAMN....I'm slow!!! me too, was only on my 2nd cup of coffee when I posted Let's not say anymore...maybe the "sheeple" will see Thor 337 and not read the rest of the post. It will be on "the other sites" top 10 by end of week!!! So how many copies of 337 did you get?
  17. Yeah it was 140, my apologies for the error. But to me it looks like the same pose, reversed. Both with the same little rear poke out. Backgrounds for sure make SC #4 a better looking cover, just don't see the potential for growth, but cool PC book for Hughes collectors.
  18. Too common of a book IMO. There are always copies at stores I shop at, at least. A blatant "do-over" of Wonder Woman 141 or the 100 Page Spectacular cover in a reverse pose and background change. I personally think it hasn't caught any heat because it was phoned in.
  19. More broken back then Liefeld right there.
  20. Shouldn't this other discussion go into the NON DELL'OTTO Venom Thread?
  21. I think my AHM Apocalypse has a shot at a 10, and maybe my spotlight Nightbeat as they are the most perfect looking books I have. Most of the early RI Covers have that thick card stock which can be a blessing or a curse! Grrr. You said 22RI. In reference to that specific book you have sir....The seller apologized to me for selling it to you out from under me when he asked me to hook him up with one of the new 1:50's. I stay looking for my grail though.
  22. Planet Venom in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 #21-23 explain it all.
  23. You're Negan duh. We are all "Negan" haha, remember that? Pepperidge Farm remembers!!!!!!
