Initially 656 was getting more attention and sales, then once the market found out there was a VARIANT for 655, making it a desireable "more collectible than the regular cover" excuse, 656 fell in price and 655 a nd variant have continued to rise since. 656 has seen it's peak I'm afraid.

Yes, after the initial sell out though, they started canceling the double orders. Someone shared that they were back in stock and I loaded my cart and paid before they were gone again.

I have been watching these variants of this Gen13 swipe go nuts, even the Gen13 #12 is selling now because of it. Expect to see the ASM continue to rise, but the Red Sketch will be the easiest to obtain and prices will likely fall on that one. With the confirmation of only 500 copies on the Champions partial Color/Black&White being only 500 copies, that may be the big one of these 3. But I am biased......

You are referring to "Variant Fatigue" but in the scope of the market and comics, the lowest print, with best art will win. And I believe that is what we have here with this TF #1. This was a pretty tough book to find initially and for a little bit after release. The Ongoing #1 went 2nd Printing because many retailers did not order that big on the new #1 after the All Hail Megatron and the Maximum Dinobots stories probably wore buyers out. Last Stand of the Wreckers was also happening at the same time offering more Transformers than the market can absorb.

Same store, and I guess that is Fan Expo's thing now with having every variant also have a foil version.

That book that was released this week was a combination of the 2 covers they released at a convention, but this one is a wraparound virgin variant. I snagged it too.

They are indeed drying up as we don;t know which one will be the next Catwoman 51/70/74. I do know the Zatanna books are the toughest to find out of all the DC Hughes books. Lower distribution numbers than Wonder Woman and Catwoman.

If JSC does the regular covers, and Frank Cho does the variants Harley Quinn Vol. 3 would be the #1 book until the market imploded.

Not reading Revolution but have flipped through it. Basically it's all the Cybertronians fault, they brought Earth into the mess with their fuel and tech. I will read the one shots for the MTMTE and former RID Revolution tie ins before the new books launch. I hope you and anyone else did pre-order the 1:50 Optimus book. 100 or less are going to make it out. Same with Lost Light. 1:50.....man, they were reaching really hard on this relaunch. I guess they hope to pick up new readers from Rom, Action Man, MASK and G.I. Joe. Good luck IDW, and please keep the cross-overs to a separate book!

Nabbed a set thankfully after striking out on the RYV Set. I also purchased my 1st 9.8's for entry into the JSC club. They are't uber rare, but 3000/1500 copy rare.

I'll wait for another in higher grade I guess. It might suck for all of us if we see a good RI book, but at least I'll know who I now will have to bid against! Welp, I am in Hurricane Central Florida, and still have power but obviously was distracted if you picked that up without me bidding.
