Because people are goofy. that's an understatement... my lcs got 5 copies... and they arent a high volume store... all these insufficiently_thoughtful_persons are doing is driving up the price and themselves... there are going to be so many of these hitting the bay tomorrow...

Will this actually hurt the value of the first issues... Considering it says Season instead of chapter, volume, yadda yadda... It's gonna be a tv show... tv shows are in seasons... And I don't know about you guys... But I don't start watching tv series at season 2 or 3...

If it sticks, with a low print run (I'm guessing just under 15k) I would guess this could command interest for a while. I was kinda thinking this too... You guys really think there is no longevity to this book?

Just picked up the tmnt #44 1:10 at my lcs... They had it marked for 10... But I told them it was heating up... And gave them 25... I think I might be too nice and honest for comic book speculating...

def seems like issues 2 and 3 are cooling down... ive managed to snag 2a,2b,3a for 10 bucks a pop... 2a and 2b came in the mail today and are nm+ or better... and just ordered 3a from the same seller... and looks like its in same condition... hoping some of the hype is wearing off so the reaping can begin...

i sent him a low ball OBO, and an email requesting info about condition along with some better pictures yesterday as soon as it popped up... have yet to get an email back... so now im kinda sketched out about the whole thing...

the 1A cover is so gorgeous... while i think the phantom is cool... it just doesnt have the same awe factor... i think they will be head to head, and stay that way... 1A because of its beauty and the phantom because of the print run... as far as submitting... im thinking of just waiting till denver comic con to submit there along with the rest of the run so i can save on shipping/insurance...

yeah... im not much of a grader... but i guarantee my 2 phantoms are 9.8... i cant find anything wrong with them, even with a magnifying glass... and i only ordered 2... so if they all came like that from mile high i think there will be a ton... i also have 2 1A that are 9.6 maybe 9.8... i dont know if i should submit them now... or wait...
