  5. So sexy... this is killing me... i am on vacation visiting family and i have a stack of these waiting for me at home along with a bunch of other books...
  6. so i keep seeing people selling Mondo #3 as the first preview to Enormous... yet everything i read says the Treasury was released in July 2012, and Mondo #3 was released in August 2012... am i missing something? Treasury Mondo
  7. As far as I can determine it is the 1st full appearance for at least Ellen  This hobby is incredibly fickle, and often there is little rhyme or reason to anything. I'll probably get rid of my two treasury copies if I can because I don't collect treasury books and they're in my way... another reason people choose to ignore it I'm sure. Its not fickle the Image oversized book is a one-shot never was a series. This current run is the series and its a different company. The tv option and series is the 215 version. Those are all drawbacks for the Treasury. It is totally fickle - the main protagonist (so far) clearly first appears in the treasury edition from Image. The publisher is irrelevant, it is creator owned. Tim has come on here and clearly has stated that was his first unpolished volley into the comic book world. She more polished in this series. Its like the Gambit uncanny x-men 266 versus the annual issue, the comic book market has made its decision. You can choose to rage against the machine but it is what it is. Just like you stated for many post earlier about how you didn't think the NYCC was worth much cause its a second print. Market has decided - not sure what complaining about it will solve. Ha the market hasn't even started. That was my thought. Most people aren't even aware of the series. this is kind of my thought process... the market is fairly new... i think if/once the tv series takes off the treasury will get more recognition...
  8. Don't know if anyone was looking for it, but Mile High has 1st, 2nd,2nd variant combo packs for 25 bucks... http://www.milehighcomics.com/cgi-bin/backissue.cgi?action=fullsize&issue=00204207884+1
  9. I got an email today saying that all orders of the color variants are fullfilled and will begin shipping in 24-48 hours... patience grasshopper...
  10. Threw out an offer and was shut down quick, not even a counter offer. Sent an email about the bottom corners... He said it was a bad camera angle and would send me better pictures tomorrow...
  11. Well just point me in the direction of a slabbed copy for sale ...
  12. Looks like both the bottom corners are blunted...
  13. i want in the club... are there any perks?... im going on vacation tomorrow and could use a discount on a car rental...
  14. Well written. I did like Toby in Spidey #1. Rest were not good. Miles is a good start. Get Will Smith's kid to play him. i would rather watch Whoopi Goldberg play spiderman than Jaden Smith... that kid sucks...
  15. thats exactly what i do... i always stop into Time Warp in Boulder and tell them books to yank and flip... i dont even take any from them... mile high i usually take half since they have a bagillion issues of everything... i believe in comic book scalping karma ...
  16. i just looked... 2 of them are newsstand edition... bet he'd be chomping at the bit to get them back
  17. i guarantee this is because of me... i went in there and raid their dollar bin 2 days ago... took 14 copies... and they were like "whats going on with this book?"... i just said i was taking a gamble... same thing happened when i took a huge stack of Morlocks #1... next day the price skyrocketed ...
  18. so what comic is that then? This is all so hilarious to me. You realize this is an ad right? They spent time setting up the lettering, made an order form to subscribe, dotted cutout lines and all. Does anyone really think they would do all this and then place the ad in a single book? Here: Every single book put out by adventure comics in April 1992 has either the single page ad or the double page ad. Rust # 1 is one of 8 books with the same ad. I have them all and have verified. I own 3 of the 7 comics put out by Adventure comics in March 1992. They have the ad as well. My assumption is, they created this ad to be placed in ALL their books for March, April and May of 1992 ( yes May issues have the ad as well ) Buy Spawn # 1. Unless you want a 1st ad appearance that is tied by 6 other books. all this advertisement stuff makes me go i think its a joke too... but if someone is willing to buy it, why not try and find it... i take a book i bought for 1.00 and sell it for 30... looks like i have 29 to spend on a book i actually want...
  19. print run numbers http://comicbookinvest.com/2015/02/16/spec-alert-enormous/
