  1. So after some (obviously fruitless) time on ComicLink, I've brought my Detective Comics #110 back to the boards! Someone out there wants this one, maybe more than one someone...(looking at you @RockMyAmadeus…) Sales pitch call outs aside, this book is absolutely beautiful for having recently turned 73 years old, with the ever elusive white pages no less. But don't take my word on it, check out the photos. Necessities: Payment: In addition to PayPal, I will also accept check/money order, though the book will be held until clearance. If paying in full -- due within 10 business days; however, I will also entertain time payments. PM to discuss if you're interested in going the time payment route. Shipping: USPS insured priority (medium flat rate box). Shipping cost is included in the book's price. Returns: No returns on CGC graded books unless I make an error in the listing or fail to disclose a problem. If by chance the USPS goes above and beyond to defeat my packaging and the slab is damaged in transit, prior to doing ANYTHING ELSE, save all the packing material and contact me. USPS regulations have been beefed up to require the packing material being available for inspection (pictures suffice based on experience) in order to file a proper insurance claim. On the HoS? Don't bother. Probation list? Message me first and we'll talk about your situation, but don't be overly optimistic. Can provide board references if needed (no name dropping here), 1600+ eBay feedback for me as well -- https://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=792mn Ask is $1100. First means . Offers via PM always welcome too. Thanks for looking!
  2. Side note -- holy carp is that haulofshame article funny. I just got to item 5... "This is the first time we discover that it was our own Admiral Nimitz who surrendered the German Forces to the Allies in the European Theatre. An amazing historical discovery. Incredibly, he also managed to sign and date this copy over ten years after he died.”
  3. "Yeah, I bet your hand hurts now, doesn't it!?!?"
  4. @Vietnam67 -- response? Or are you going to continue having very selective reading comprehension?
  5. Except the LOA didn’t check out as legitimate. Don’t let that get in the way of your childish ranting though.
  6. Comic books do sound more fun than preferred stocks and short term treasuries...
  7. True story! Your efforts are appreciated though.
  8. I wonder if they'll do another installment in the "Night Manager". I very much enjoyed Loki vs. Dr. House.
  9. Anyone know if she ever got money out of Cupcake? Or if all those steroids finally took their toll on him? I mean physically, just from the smattering of his past posts that I've seen its clear he's been a mental case from the get go. 24/7/365 'roid rage.
  10. He is in the HOS, 8th overall inductee. A shiny nickel to anyone who can sum up all the drama surrounding that dude in 500 words or less.
  11. I made it to page 23. Then the wife took the dogs upstairs, the cat jumped on me, I put Wayne’s World back on, and the pizza showed up. Did Yannis make good? Should I renege on all my current transactions? Is now the time to buy Bitcoin???
  12. This here, and the fact that Abrams made everyone seem "human" again in TFA (unlike the wooden CGI mess that was I-III) is what gives me hope for #9. But as I alluded to before, his tendency for derivation is something to remain very cautious of. I give TFA a pass because the Star Wars franchise was desperately in need of a movie that would make Star Wars enjoyable again. It was the safe route, and it proved very effective. At this point though, the franchise should be moving past safe. Unfortunately, since The Last Jedi was so horrid, I worry it will cause Abrams to go that route once more.
  13. Almost positive it was this guy (as a red label 9.8 at the time).
  14. OK...great. So because VII was heavily derivative of IV, its some crime against cinema to fear that IX will be heavily derivative of VI? Gotcha. Cool story.
  15. I want to be excited for this movie, but I keep getting that “Episode IX: The Jedi Return Of” vibe. 😞
  16. Nah, he didn’t even have his passport yet. I think his odyssey is still a ways off.
  17. I don’t believe he’s on the train yet, my impression was that’s his ultimate plan but it’s a long way off. i just hope the kid doesn’t get hurt, such a bizarre situation.
