  1. Hard to really call anyone the King of SS, though some of the less than ethical facilitators might try to lay claim to the title. But at the very least, if we're going royal, you could call Rich a Duke of SS. A number 1.
  2. Some time in 2015. I bought it with Rubinstein already on it, then (the man, the myth, the legend) Rich Henn took care of adding Miller and Claremont for me.
  3. He had nothing to do with this book, or the series. I'm not sure if this one even has "Stan Lee presents..." on the splash page.
  4. Partially, but these are my three reasons: - I wouldn't want Stan, Romita, or Trimpe on this book. EVER. - I'm not really interested in having either editor on it (e.g. Shooter and Louise). - I don't pay the 9.9 premium for anything. Personal preference. Here is the copy in my collection:
  5. As an avid Wolverine collector, I wouldn't buy it.
  6. The Royals are just getting warmed up, bet the house on them winning the 2019 World Series!! Am I the only who envisions his first episode (assuming it ever drops) featuring him showing off a printout of a picture of a 9.8 #361 that he pilfered from eBay?
  7. Either way, just based on the signature dates, at least 3 cracks were required. 4 depending on when Miller signed it. 5 if this was originally a blue label. Talk about not quitting while you're ahead. But it actually does look a lot better than I'd expect for having 8 signatures on the front cover.
  8. Had to have been cracked several times, no way a 2 1/2 year carryover time was allowed. Also, three signatures too many.
  9. Define "entire team at Marvel". If we're talking about these folks -- http://comicbookdb.com/issue.php?ID=12168 -- fine, though the cover is unlikely to handle 7 signatures all that well. But if you're talking about Wein, Trimpe, Romita Sr., Stan, etc., then the book is just defaced. I don't do Instagram, just post a pic of it.
  10. Only bummer is that they didn't subtly slip in "I see your Schwartz is as big as mine."
  11. Couldn't happen to a nicer scam artist.
  12. A Swamptastic youtube channel could easily challenge DNA test day on Maury for the title of best worst TV ever.
  13. Monster is for chumps, just ask Diamond Joe.
  14. I think the real question is - how does CVA factor cat urine stains into their eye appeal scale?
  15. Sure, I was only there to deal with it firsthand. But you’re the one who is right, random internet third party. 👍
  16. Maybe he buys the Monster that contains equal parts Robitussin. Tweaked out robo tripping would certainly explain a few things.
  17. Negative in this case, I would’ve been saddled with it.
  18. Quickly Exploiting Suckers On an AF 15 no less...
  19. You and @Poka are probably correct, a little cool down time followed by some substantial phone time likely could've gotten this worked out in my favor, and if it was actually a consequential book I would have done just that. But over a few bucks, with a cursed book no less (previous attempts at selling also ran into issues ), meh, I'll use my time resources elsewhere. Hopefully the curse is transferred!
  20. Nah, I'd have probably gotten connected with one of the reps who would say "Weeelllll, you didn't actually use the phrase 'water damage', so we're gonna need you to go ahead an refund that money. That would be greeeaaattt." It's been a lousy week overall.
  21. silveragecollectibles618 -- 11,000+ positives, 0 integrity. I'd buy a short box full of Stan Lee forgeries from tonfulle-84 before I'd do business with this guy again. In short, he bought an Uncanny 120 from me for $18 shipped, description of which, in part, contained the following: "NOTABLE FLAWS: The main flaw of this book is that it has become slightly wavy, I believe due to moisture exposure (touch gives that impression, and there also appears to be a water stain on the back cover which should be visible in the photo)." [I also graded the book at a 3.0 overall] A couple days after shipping I get a "not as described" return request (demand; you can't not accept these, because eBay). Reasoning? "This book is water damaged. Did not say so in the description." I somewhat tersely reminded Mr. buyer of the lengthy sentence I wrote on the topic, response was "well, its coming back regardless". Ultimately I was going to lose any debate with eBay, because eBay. So finally I said spoon it here's your money back, send the book back or don't, I don't give an excrement. Figured why pay return shipping and/or additional blood money to eBay for a book that I just wanted a little beer money for? I also wasted a bit of time filling out two of those "Report Buyer" reports, in the second one I made sure to mention that I know eBay doesn't give an excrement about what transpired and I doubt anyone reads these anyway. I'll follow-up and award homeboy one integrity point if the book actually does show back up in my mailbox.
  22. @BITCOINSWAMI is the final authority on everything.
  23. John Byrne and BWS are the two most prominent SS boycotts that I can think of.
  24. Larsen has quite a work history -- http://comicbookdb.com/creator.php?ID=205 I'm personally a fan, largely for his contribution to the Apocalypse: The 12 storyline (it got me back into collecting oh so many years ago ), but I couldn't disagree with him more on this point.
