  1. You nailed it with that last sentence. Samuel L. Fury sends the text at the end of IW, and tada! The Marvel audience MUST see more about this newbie. Compare that with the lead in that Wonder Woman had - stealing the show in an otherwise lousy movie.
  2. Samuel L. Jackson is ruining the trailer for me. Never liked him as Fury to begin with, but he seems to be channeling Die Hard 3 especially hard for Captain Marvel.
  3. If it was only one yellow label ever, he should be auctioning it off. Highest bidder takes it.
  4. Heck, possibly much more. All he’d have to do is point to how many times Stan got $100 per signature.
  5. I give him credit for sticking to his convictions and never doing so. Imagine if one facilitator got an exclusive deal with Ditko to do the only 100 yellow labels that would ever exist? How much do you think Ditko could have charged for his services?
  6. How about the other guys’ board? They’re the ones churning out red labels. You’re original question was how verified copies even exist with Kirby dying in 1994 and CGC not opening till ‘99. Question has been answered, there will NEVER be a yellow label Kirby. I miss “to slab or not to slab”...
  7. Dude, I used to have 663 and 665 in SS 9.8! Would've set you up if I still had them. Also envious of #666, been looking for a 9.8 copy myself for quite a while.
  8. The other guys "verified" the signatures, this has nothing to do with CGC. Why has this topic dragged on for two pages??? https://www.ebay.com/itm/X-Men-7-Signed-by-Stan-Lee-amp-Jack-Kirby-Graded-CBCS-5-5-signatures-verified-/153377740540?hash=item23b60696fc%3Ag%3Ac6oAAOSwTDpb-6VG&nma=true&si=LjpuxsFNhGzzUUJ4pVVR7vDHsys%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  9. I got a kick out of seeing the PGX "9.9" signed by ATnl Inpe make another appearance: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Incredible-Hulk-181-PGX-9-9-Better-than-the-Mile-High-CGC-9-8-and-the-CGC-9-9/323664538464?hash=item4b5be8eb60:g:YHoAAOSwIQNcSfSL:rk:1:pf:0 No back cover photo? No $80 grand for you! Ha, anyone paying $80 grand for this travesty needs to have their money revoked. I'd wager this book has been trimmed at the minimum, especially at the top. Probably color touched too.
  10. I don't know man, could be a hijacked account. Only a $1200 BIN? And a completely bogus title and description? The guy's feedback as a seller indicates he has no history selling comics but that he can clearly put together a proper eBay listing. As Kelly Bundy might say - "there's something rotten in the state of Denver."
  11. If the previous trailer is any indication, Kinberg can save the "surprise". I've already seen The Last Stand.
  12. Never got that in depth on my thinking, I always just considered it the manly version of Magenta.
  13. Nah, that one seems like a bore waiting to happen. Not one boast about buying X-Men 1 cover D for $2.50 right before it pops to $9,072 'cause its the first apperence of Magento.
  14. That's a good point regarding licensing, I would agree they probably have to pay something, but probably not $4.75 worth of something. I do think this would be cool on certain books, I know if they introduced a Wolverine label I'd probably like to get it for my #1 and #145 gold foil (because that's the book that got me back into comics). But it doesn't hold the same appeal as the Stan Lee labels, largely because there will be no more Stan labels. What's out there is it. But these could potentially be perpetual since characters NEVER die in the Marvel Universe, ergo more scratch for the bottom line year over year.
  15. Heard that, have to admire the profit margin on the custom labels.
  16. Cause I just have to dissect one of his "NM" book descriptions... Never taken out of bag (so how'd you grade it?) and I think this is possibly NM+ (despite never taking it out of the bag?) but this is just a guess (get out!) I am not a grader (shocking!) but I have been dealing with comics for over 20 years (but you can't grade or take books out of a bag?). I have posted various (2, plus 2 straight on photos, all of the front cover no less) angles of the comic to give you ever possible angle (total possible angles = 2?) so make your judgement based on that (word, I'm not buying this). If you have any more question (Just 1 question is allowed? Even Apu got more when he visited the first Kwik-E-Mart.) of need (wait, "question of need?" Like, should I start taking once daily turmeric to battle inflammation?) more angles or photos shoot me a message. What you see is what you get and will be shipped securely! (I think that was the only proper English sentence you put together )
  17. He said no when I asked, but we haven't heard from him in several days, so I'm starting to wonder. But he could just be immersed in online zombie sex with his dwarf girlfriend.
  18. And its not just Carnage folks, he also dabbles in waxing strips... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Waxing-Strips/264200319734?hash=item3d8390f2f6:g:cZEAAOSwiu5bOFtn:rk:1:pf:0
  19. BTW r_j_market, your "Spectacular Spider-Man #202 ~Maximum Carnage Part 9 ~ 9.8 NM/MT" has at least three small spine stresses on the front cover (and you didn't provide any photos of the back, what else you hiding? ).
