  1. And you probably could get it for $6300+ off their website. Nice comparison shopping.
  2. Put in 12 seconds of extra work, homie. And frankly, if I was the seller, I’d also want to drive traffic away from fleaBay to my own site.
  3. https://www.mycomicshop.com/help 5 emails, 4 phone numbers, and a physical address.
  4. Chewy is publicly traded and has a market cap of $26 billion. MCS is probably sitting a little lower than that. Why this witchhunt? If you don’t think their customer service is up to par, move on to another dealer.
  5. Reminds me of someone we know from another thread.
  6. My man, if there’s one thing all these posts prove to us, it’s that you have an agenda.
  7. So now we’re moving the goalpost to pricing varies week to week?
  8. That's way too simplistic of an argument. On the obvious face, they're different issues. Second, the price difference was $17 between the two sales ($34 and $51). Not exactly breaking the bank for Golden Age material. Going beyond the obvious -- what was each buyer's motivation? Is one book scarcer or harder to find than the other? Did the guy who bought 37 think it was undergraded? Etc. If you want to make the argument that overgrading doesn't change anything in terms of price achieved, you need to run a much more strict trial. Use three copies of an in demand book that are in approximately the same condition, list them all at the same time, with one each overgraded/undergraded/accurate. Then see what happens.
  9. If FedEx was Nick Cannon, then I would say...
  10. Going to close this thread - Wolverine 7 will be reposted with a nice wrinkle in a new thread at a date TBD.
  11. Actually it does matter since its material to migmtl trying to dodge responsibility for backing out of an agreed to transaction. In the end iceman won't be out any money, and he may even make more from a different buyer, but he's still out his time and potential opportunities that he may have been afforded had he been paid on time. Though maybe not as sexy as the STARR situation, this is quite a similar scenario and precisely why the PL exists. Put migmtl on unless he makes things right.
  12. If you like this book, thank @WASM that's its available. Necessities first: Payment: In addition to PayPal, I will also accept check/money order/Zelle, though the book will be held until clearance. Payment due within 10 business days. Shipping (domestic): Book will be shipped via insured USPS priority mail in a medium flat rate box. Domestic shipping is included in the listed price. International Shipping - exact cost, minus the US shipping cost. Please inquire first for an accurate quote. Returns: No returns on CGC books as you know what you're getting. On the HoS? Probation list? Or I simply don't like you (aka on my ignore list)? Don't bother. Can provide board references if needed (no name dropping here), and over 1700 positive eBay feedback as well -- https://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=792mn. And I've got a fledgling kudos thread started (link is in my profile page). First wins a book outright, well reasoned offers always welcome. Onward! Marvel Spotlight #5 is up for sale. A beautiful 7.0 copy with white pages, this book is seeing a lot of upward action lately in all grades. 1st Johnny Blaze as Ghost Rider, once portrayed by Nicolas Cage in two awful films. Let's not think about those. The most recent sale I found was around $1050 shipped on eBay, but that copy had the dreaded C-OW pages and a lousy spine cut. I'd aim higher, but eBay isn't shaking me down on this sale. So for you, fearless boardie, I set this book at $995 shipped.
  13. Its definitely a bogus 9.8. Unfortunately, you may end up in a urinating contest with the seller over who bears responsibility (seller or CGC). Hope everything works out on your end though, great eye on this one.
  14. Detective 371 is all that's left, final price cut to $300. Thread will close up shop sometime tonight.
