Proof positive that QES is defined as Quietly Exploiting Suckers. That spine cut isn't the worst I've ever seen, but on a 9.8 it should certainly disqualify that particular book from being held up as an example of top of the heap eye appeal.

Just received the last donation amount, so we officially put all the money together and had it out to the shelters within three hours of thread closing. And one more look at little miss as we watch this dogmess of an SNF performance by Pittsburgh.

Rather than respond to each PM individually, I will post a mass acknowledgment here to everyone who has sent funds so far -- this is my confirmation that they have been received Since I am only waiting on receipt of one more pledged donation, I went ahead and advanced the remaining total so that our donation to Best Friends could be sent right away. That means...all funds pledged have been sent out!! Receipts are posted on page 1, and I will add any thank you emails that are subsequently received. I can't say it enough -- this was amazing. Well folks, with buddy2's contribution and a pm I received, we now have a tie atop the leaderboard: buddy2 and the pm'er are both at $225 SkOw is in third at $203. I'm in the midst of trying to drum up a creative tie breaker for if we do end up with any ties.
