  1. Bump and new price...$1,750. That's inclusive of tracked shipping and I'm not asking for any PayPal fees.
  2. Upgraded my example from this series and am looking to move my current example which is a great piece by Declan Shalvey featuring Magneto advising the human race that, "You have new gods now". Very cool line. Price includes tracked shipping, securely packaged in a box. Would prefer to ship domestically (USA). Certainly open to offers, so please don't be shy. Payment via PayPal Goods and Services. Not asking for additional 3%. Art is in great shape and ready to ship out. Thanks, and please let me know if you have any questions.
  3. I noticed a lot of Stan sigs. Frankly turned me off of a couple pieces I really liked.
  4. Picked up a neat piece by Donato Giancola titled, "Rangers of Arnor". This was published in his Middle Earth illustration book. If you are a fan, highly recommend picking up that book of 200 pages of wonderful illustrations by a master craftsman. The drawing is watercolor pencil and chalk on paper. Paper is 11" x 14" framed and matted to 16" x 20". His framing, and I think he really chose well.
  5. Nice Red Son page! One of my favorite Superman stories. I do not believe I’ve seen a ton of those in the wild...? Good luck with the auction.
  6. I second these suggestions, and keeping on the DC side I think Venditti's Hawkman run was revelatory for the character. It's contained in four trades, the last of which was released a couple days ago. Tom King/Andy Kubert's 'Superman Up in the Sky' I put up there with All-Star Superman in terms of quality Superman tales. This will be especially meaningful for Superman fans like myself. For two things non-big 2; 'Sara' by Ennis/Epting is a great tale of female Russian snipers in WWII. I think TKO produces that. Lastly, Jeffrey Alan Love's tales, 'Thousand Demon Tree' and 'Notes from the Shadowed City' are unique works. There's a lot of junk out there, but also some gems from just about every timeframe.
  7. Yes (without knowing the artist's real intent here) I think it's clearly derivative/inspired by/knock off of/etc. I do think the drawing is about on par with the Lee, and dare I say a touch better in some respects.
  8. While we're on this topic...anyone here have the Cover to Aquaman #18? I wrote to him asking about it and he said he gave it to a friend of his a while ago...
  9. Loved his stuff back in Aquaman during the New 52. Good stories. Great with a pencil. Glad he launched his website not too long ago. Great value for the price.
  10. Reduced prices on remaining books. Take all three and get an even bigger reduction. Just sayin'...
  11. Payment via PayPal. Tracked shipping (in a box) is included in the listed price. Continental US shipping only. First claim in the thread gets the book. This means that if you and I are discussing price via personal message, and we come to terms but someone comes along and posts a claim for the book before you do, that person gets the book. No returns on graded books. Happy to supply additional pictures, just ask. Happy to make a deal on multiple books.
  12. Rob Kirkman just did something akin to your idea. Him and Ryan Ottley released (unbeknownst to anyone) a sort of "what if" random one off book which supposes the Walking Dead never took off. I only heard about it on a podcast, but it apparently used the older style paper. The creative team also used their characters in new ways, I think Michonne was one of the protagonists...? Sounded interesting. It's called Solid Blood #17.
  13. Francesco Manna. His bio says he came on the scene with Marvel in 2017. Also says he was producing earlier in the decade for smaller publishers, so maybe not exactly what this thread is looking for. At any rate, a nice Surfer splash for less than $1k. Feels like a rare occurrence these days.
  14. Here's a fun splash from Silver Surfer: The Prodigal Sun #1. Haven't read the story, just love the art. And the tax for missing this on the day it dropped wasn't too bad either. Art by Francesco Manna.
  15. PS5 pre orders, and now the release day experience (today!) is very much like an OA drop. Goes very fast, very frustrating, and I come out empty handed.
