doh! One of the most famous taglines for X-FILES was Trust No One. The Cigarette Smoking Man (aka Cancer Man) had a brass Zippo lighter with "Trust No One" engraved on it. I actually bought a brass Zippo back in those days and had the same engraving on it. (It went missing in the MA to CA move).

I confess to having been a great X-FILES fan. My favorite episodes, as I have posted here elsewhere, are Jose Chung's From Outer Space, War of the Coprophages, Humbug and Clyde Bruckman's Final repose. All written by Darrin Morgan.

But POV, "...The truth is out there..."

  2. What was so bad about the second movie?

The villain was a rehash of the same activity from the first movie (Chris D'Amico / Red Mist). Plus, it felt like it lost some of that sparkle that made the first movie unique.

This is what happnes when you deviate from the "source" materail. :makepoint:

With Pratt in such high demand, the studio quickly fast-tracked the project in

order to squeeze it in before the actor’s plate became too full. It’s unclear where

this film would fit in his schedule with Pratt already set to star in “Magnificent

Seven,” which shoots in the spring, and the “Guardians of the Galaxy” sequel, but

as long as things come together quickly, it’s a good sign this film is headed in the

    right direction.

  4. I remember thinking this series would be another series that comic snobs would love and praise as above the normal comic book.

Thankfully I was wrong after issue 5 I am hooked for the long run on this series.
