  1. Ya' know....the more I think upon it, The Rock pretty much HAS to be Shazam.

They've got their villains ironed out already for the BvS movie, and are actively attempting to cameo in the rest of the JLA. They've got WW, Supes, Bats, Aquaman & Cyborg....even a GL if you really want to consider RR reprising his role (shudder)....but no Shazam. We know the Rock has been in negotiations for years.....why would he get all juiced about some villain that's going to show up possibly 1 or 2x on the big screen. Black Adam isn't what you call a top tier character. With all the hinting and such from everywhere, I can't see him being in any other role except Lobo.....so it leaves Shazam on the plate.

I'm done wondering if he's Black Adam....in my mind he's already Shazam, showing up in BvS and headlining in JLA...along with his own movie.

  2. For what it is worth, I have this to add.

With the reports of Gal Gadot being on the set of Triple Nine, speculations was

that maybe she was done filming on Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice

already. Well, according to an interview on USAToday.com, Zack Snyder says he

has not filmed any footage of Gadot as Wonder Woman and that, ”she’s working

out and getting buff and ripped.”

I take that to mean that what she has filmed has all been in civilian clothes and

the scenes with her in costume will be filmed later.

  3. I just read #2 - liked it better than #1.

A story is starting to come together....

    (1) a world with super heroes that may/may not need them

    (2) power struggles and political positioning

    (3) greed and jealously

    (4) a somewhat Romeo and Juliet dynamic

    (5) grown kids with "daddy issues"

Not a bad second issue. As I said, better than the first and I'll tune in for a few more.

¿Anyone else read número dos?

    :hi: Yes, me.

Also (6) Friends turning allies into enemy's.

How is it the comic community is so small, I've dealt with many of the same people and I have had 0% of this drama?

Easy. There was ONE person that decided to stand up. Apparently that has never happened in your small community before. Very inappropriate behavior was tolerated as long as no one spoke out about the "great one(s)" that was doing the misdeeds. Now everyone is running for cover because of ONE person. Get it? I know you do - you also were there for the eBay comics flame wars.

CAL who does not use " I don't remember" as a crutch

    Yes you do.

  5. As you can see I am already on THE LIST, so you know where I stand

on all this. I just find it the height of hypocrisy to rail about behavior that is most

apparently the one that is your own,( this beginning directed to CAL. )

  6. Hey Cal, how about telling your friends, like Bartlett, to mannup and not let trolls deter them from being a part of something they would otherwise enjoy. Opposition, criticism, hate...all these things are present in all aspects of life. If you can't push past them, you won't get anything done.

Pain is inevitable, suffering and persecution are self-inflicted.

COI who knows what it really means to mannup.

See if you can get Dupont to man-up before the CAL haters PM him to stop to get all their gossip straight...

    CAL can man up too

Sorry, I was busy trying to remember how to use the ignore function. Anyway, what I heard is this.

A new member joined the forum. Just as it has happened many times in my experience, this person was immediately accused of being a shill. From what I hear you had a large role (maybe a solo role) in successfully convincing the mods this person was a shill, getting the account permanently deactivated. This person being a new member had no idea what had happened and called CGC to see why the account was banned. All was cleared up, the account was reinstated, and life continued on.

Not registering at all. I wouild need to see the banned name, other circumstances, such as they were libeling me or calamerica-collectibles somehow, if what you say IS true, I will admit it immediately. But as of now, I really don't recall and can't recall without more specifics.
