  1. ........................PAGING adamstrange , PAGING adamstrange.................................... hey there, I can't seem to rouse you VIA PM's (why is that ?) I just need to know eveything went well with the Atlas cover proofs I sent you. Did everything come out fine ? PM me back , wouldya' That is all...NOW back to the regularly scheduled posts...thank you
  2. I appreciate them. The HORROR is much easier to locate than the humor or romance in VG or better. It took me FOREVER to find a copy of Billy Bunny (I know, it's Billy Bunny) # 3. Over seven years of constantly searching. Finally got one. Anyway, the horror is really cool too. I sold most of mine that I had aquired prior to the horror boom and made out like a champ. I can now find those issues for half what I sold them for 5 years ago.
  3. David, are you getting the PM's I sent you about the Atlas covers
  4. Scrooge, please continue with the write ups. THEY are great. I love learning about books that I would normally never see. This is why I love these boards. GREAT JOB...keep them up, I appreciate it as I'm sure others do....very interesting.
  5. Well, I wish that book were mine. I didn't have the 4,383.84 that it sold for. J and S comics (great guys, sold them tons of stuff in the 80's) sold it on ebay a while back. It was advertised as a VF+ and looked awesome. They still have pics up of the interior and back....heck, here is the link to the completed auction Also, did anyone see this copy of Mickey Mouse Magazine # 1 ( ragged and incomplete) but it went for only 77.00....was that a good deal ?? I spaced out on it or I would have bid. Here is a link to the completed auction.
  6. Classic , First Carl Barks art issue
  7. I'm 34 too....that's weird....I thought everyone would be older than me.....My first GA book was Thrilling # 11 in 1981..... Coolest thing is that it had some kids name rubberstamped on the cover..."ALVIN".....seventeen years later I got a copy of Adventure # 52 (cool hourman cover) from the same kids collection....the ALVIN pedigree....
  8. I have a Weird Mysteries # 11 that would be a Fine minus if somebody didn't spill a bit of paint on it. Oh well, I didn't pay too much for it and I found a decent copy was pretty hard to find.
