When it comes Submission Status on the Submission Tracking Page, we can have Received (or is this even used anymore?) Scheduled For Grading Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging Grading/Quality/Control Shipped (my favorite status) However, in checking my Submission Tracking today, I have one submission with a status of 'Quality Control/Finalized' which I've never seen before. Where does that fit into the scheme of things? Thank you.

Week before last, things seemed to be moving along just fine. Than all of a sudden BAM everything came to a dead halt. And they're still opening packages from January 3rd? That was more than 15 business days ago. I too think Covid is running rampant throughout the CGC offices.

Agreed. I had a submission of 8 books, MFT, arrive yesterday and each and every slab has Newton Rings.

I started collecting in the early 70's. At the 7-11, local grocery store, or the local news agency. Sometimes from the newsstands in downtown Chicago. Strictly Marvel with one exception. I did get Brave and the Bold because while I really wasn't into Batman at the time, I liked the fact DC showcased a new character every month (or was it bi-monthly, I can't remember) that I had never heard of. Does anyone remember when certain titles came out bi-monthly? That was the case with the new X-Men when they were re-introduced. It was such a great read and couldn't believe each issue only came out every other month. I think it was around issue 112 when they finally made it a monthly.

I stopped using eBay years ago and have been consigning slabbed books to MCS since 2016 and have done very well. I always go the auction route. I read through every posting in this thread and didn't come across any post with the only thing that I find super frustrating: Deadbeat winning bidders. To illustrate, I sold 6 graded slabs, auction end date 1/3/22, for a total of $522. As of this writing, only one winning bidder has paid. There's still $452 just sitting there waiting for the other winning bidder(s) to pay. MCS can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe winning bidders are given three weeks to pay? Are winning bidders sent reminders to pay up? I've also had unpaid auction books sold which sat so long that either MCS initiated a return of the book to my selling/auction queue and banned the winning bidder or I've requested Este to initiate the book be returned to to my selling/auction queue. I also question the banning process of the winning bidder. What's to stop them from rejoining under another name and be allowed to bid again? In the end, I'm still not deterred by sending in slabs to auction off with MCS. I have 7 slabs in the process of being setup right now @mycomicshop

Would love to find a Batman 255 in high grade. More for nostalgia sake. My Dad bought it for me at O'Hare. It was my first plane ride to Florida. And it was also the first time I met my grandparents (on my Dad's side).

I had a 4 book Modern Fast Track submission received on 1/4/22 and it was shipped today. At the same time, I have a 4 book Modern Fast Track submission received on 11/17/21 and it's still sitting at G/E/I as of this writing.
