  1. If anyone is interested in original art, I’m going to move 2 of my Maxx covers next month. Just deciding on the venue. Maybe ComicLink.
  2. Maybe that’s the goal with Channing Tatums Maxx project if they make it a series.
  3. I wish they would remaster the animated series for an HD release.
  4. I’ve only watched ZSJL one time on HBO and it’s worth the additional purchase for me. After watching Logan Noir, I’m sort of hooked on these versions as long as they are done right. And that means a scene by scene conversion to correct every single lighting effect. The Mist and Logan were absolutely phenomenal and an entirely different viewing experience. I can never watch either of those two again in color.
  5. It will suck if they are selling the two versions separately. If I have to choose one to purchase, it will be the Justice is Gray one.
  6. I hope this is something that looks and feels different from Jackson’s. Huge budget and of course the technology with CGI has improved since then. How many seasons are there? Because if it was only one season at an hour a show, it would still be around the run time of Jackson’s trilogy. They can’t dump that amount of money on one season and let it fail.
  7. I can respect that you didn’t like it. It’s not for everyone. BvS didn’t win me over but this one did. And I really despised the theatrical release of JL.
  8. Man, I’m actually considering renting this on iTunes for 20 bucks but I think I’ll wait.
  9. Yup, all good, I just want minimal use of slo-mo except with Flash where it’s very appropriate. Snyder’s slo-mo annoys me like Abrams lens flare in Star Trek.
  10. Right off the top of my head, the football game and the scene where the entire team is captured in slow-mo just like that opening Avengers scene.
  11. Watched it yesterday on HBO and liked it. It was basic but I enjoyed it. Should appeal to young teens.
  12. I’m fine with the Flash’s slow-mo scenes, especially at the end when he reaches for Cyborg, but there were many other scenes that could have played normal speed.
  13. I always thought it was known the majority agree that The Original Series edges out all the others and Wrath of Khan was the best film by a mile. As for the nerd debate against Star Wars, I don’t care. I enjoy both franchises equally.
  14. Having said that, here’s a note (a plea) to Zack Snyder. After completing a movie, go back in and cut 50% of your slow motion scenes. Well not really cut, just play them at normal speed.
  15. The theatrical JL was awful, WW84 was awful. Aquaman was awful. This one was surprisingly great. I never rallied to see its creation, I got better things to do than hashtag stuff but I’m glad someone did.
  16. Oh, Kung Fu Hustle is definitely the exception! Awesome English track.
  17. Agreed, however I will take the subtitles almost every time. It’s not often you get an English dub from someone who can actually act. As much as I like busting Disney’s marbles, did you know they excel at the additional audio tracks on many of their animated releases? When they add a Spanish dub, they will usually hire a known actor with talent and one recognizable to the region. Not all languages or every movie but I have noticed the effort they put in for those who do not speak English. Bravo Disney! But they are still a soulless corporate machine with a rat for a mascot. F them.
  18. There are some pretty noticeable violent additions that are awesome.
