  1. I believe Olav Beemer (from the Netherlands) also had over 500 letters printed, he's still around, he runs a website devoted to the Dutch translated Marvel comics and a Comics message board and sporadically works as a translator for Juniorpress, the publisher of Marvel Holland. I also remember reading a lot of letters by the Wu sisters (Alice and...) by these were mostly in DC books. And of course (Uncle) Elvis Orton
  2. Kudos to all the fools that I've failed to acknowledged just for the hell of it! Finally.... Yeah, greggy......you were pleased with the books that I sold you - why don't you give kudos, dammit? FWIW greggy paid quickly and err, that's it. I had to be consistent! BTW...thanks for the books. I was trying to find faults with your NM grading just for whining purposes but I just couldn't! I hope everybody is reading this.........high praise indeed. Fat chance, three quarters of the people here have him in their "ignore list"
  3. Kudos to all the fools that I've failed to acknowledged just for the hell of it! Finally....
  4. Oops. Should've remembered. Extra thanks to Zeman for doing both me and Brad a favor! Sorry greggy, I haven't forgotten to send you the scans....... You're lucky I'm considering your books at your UK inflated prices! My prices are VERY reasonable. Unlike yourself
  5. A big shout-out to Capercaillie for sending me some free copies of FOOM magazine and few other Marvel fan-magazines. Having never even seen a copy of FOOM, this was quite a treat !
  6. A big Shout out to ComicSupply...bought a couple of Bronze Xmen (mid grade from VG to F/VF) from Russel and besides giving me a good deal, grading was also spot-on,...
  7. Big shout out to ft88 and Oldguy for setting me up with some good deals and even paying part of the postage to Belgium
  8. I'm waiting and hoping. I mean, you NEVER know. I'm in your corner here 100%, if he's got the nerve to call himself your protégé, he'd better step up to the plate and deliver...
  9. hard to tell...with all the pages kinda sticking...well together
  10. Kudos to Strongman ! Comicbook Jeff as he is known on eBay, gave me a sweet sweet deal on some Silver and Bronze Avengers and threw in some fine Bronze freebies, including the very first price variant (Thor) I've ever seen in the flesh... Solid grading, good price and an all-round nice guy to deal with, eventhough he wrapped the comics in old lingerie catalogs
  11. Kudos to following board-members for deals well done... dillmeister for sending me a bunch of correctly graded early Avengers and adding some nice freebie horror comics davidking623 for sending me some nice Superboys & LOSH...spot-on grading at a great price Rhino_Comics for some sweet Silver Spideys & Avengers, insisted on paying the shipping himself for a sturdier package than the usual GPE...again spot-on grading Lantern for some very nice early Silver Avengers...gotta love sellers who give you free mylars even with mid-grade comics and another guy who knows how to grade
  12. Happy to find this, one of the best Bronze Age covers ever IMHO
  13. Well posting my want-list really paid off, over half the issues I was looking for are being sent to me or have already arrived...thanks to everyone but especially to : nikos61 for hooking me up(free of charge ) with Avengers #58 Dillmester for sending me a whole bunch of Silver Avengers and early Legion books. Half of them without wanting money upfront, when I get them I get to send whatever I think they are worth Zonker his first sale !!! Also a bunch of early Legion books at a killer price (and one free)...we made the deal last weekend and the books are already here And of course Chrisco69 ... by letting me use his house as my US address and taking the time and effort to repack smaller packages into one big package and then sending it to me in Belgium he has singlehandedly made sure my Silver collection has more than doubled over the last year... I'll be updating the want-list very soon, just waiting on confirmation from two other sellers that had books for me
  14. Would like to say thanks to wrcomics for a smooth deal, won a bunch of eBay auctions and he was friendly, fast and flexibel. Got a good deal on (international) shipping and grading was spot-on. Thanks Ray
  15. NEVER use air-mail Mbags....a total rip. On average they take 4-5 weeks to reach Europe, while the regular Surface Mbag(why do they call it surface when it goes overseas ) takes 5-8 weeks and costs less than half. I'm looking forward to the day I can post a message like Alex's, my House-M-Bag has been in transit for 5 1/2 weeks now...still three more weeks before I go ga-ga again. Of course greggy's almost daily barrage of PMs and emails with the same stupid question "Did your POS books from House arrive yet" does wonders for my calmness...
  16. Oh REALLY ???? That's VERY logical. Well you do have tons of spares...
  17. Well, not publicly on the boards anyway....
