    Did Jamie take Oathkeeper with him? Or was it left with Brienne? One other old, nagging thought: What was the story with the guy that gave the dragon eggs as a wedding gift to Dany in the first place? It always seemed too glossed over to me.

    Sticking to the developments in this episode, I can't believe there isn't more angst being expressed about As to getting to an un-rushed satisfactory ending, they have two and a half hours left. That's a complete movie. And they don't have to use time explaining motivations, or developing characters. They've had 7 years of that. The stage is set and the audience is properly educated. ...And they'll leave loose ends for the prequels and Martin's (quixotically hoped for) books.

    Let's face it; when it comes to tactics (and to some extent strategy) Dany is an insufficiently_thoughtful_person. That she's so headstrong (has she really listened to anybody's advice throughout the series?), is a disturbing thought thinking of her as a supreme ruler.
