  1. You won't get $50 or £39 for a wrap on ebay. I collect SA ASM and I wouldn't pay anything for a wrap when I could read the entire story in Marvel Tales 152 for a fraction of this.
  2. The greatest Spidey book ever. 6.5 but I wouldn't be surprised if it came back a 7.0
  3. Well, at least they're not rusty. That would really kill it for me.
  4. I have that page! It's an absolute classic. First appearance of DD's 'overall' costume.
  5. I've got a mid-grade FF#52 also missing an ad page (story unaffected). I also got a substantial discount on it. Do I want to buy a low grader just to marry them? No, I'm more than happy to have it in my collection so I can read it and enjoy but I'm a collector. I've given my advice. Take it or not but I can see you losing out on any marrying ideas. To get a price you will be happy with, the book will have to be slabbed and it'll come back purple which is self-defeating to any notion of achieving the highest price possible. If you try to sell it raw honestly, then it's probably not going to make much more than you paid for it (and the bride). Do you really want all that hassle?
  6. I think you'll be throwing good money after bad. Either keep it and enjoy it or sell it as is.
  7. Bearing in mind you finished higher than me in Point Five's grading challenge, I may not be the best person to offer a grade but in imo it's a 7.5. Great large pics and great FF's as well.
  8. Given the information that gadzukes supplied which was extremely helpful and something I didn't know either, an owner of a raw ASM#14 (wink, wink) should be able to identify what is missing in the slab.
  9. Yes, I was in that thread too. I meant he may be able to identify what page is missing (the mysterious page 12) from this slab.
  10. Is this a coverless ASM 14 you're looking at? I can't help you with that as I don't have one, complete or otherwise. @marvelmaniac may be able to identify the page, as he has one and is a very helpful chap as well.
  11. I have no idea what you're talking about. But comics are assembled from wraps. The first wrap would contain..the cover (page one)..the interior cover (page two)...the interior to the back cover (page thirty five) and the back cover (thirty six). This is based on a book with 9 wraps.
  12. And I forgot to mention congratulations to @Azkaban. I really hope I don't get you in the March Madness.
  13. I suck so badly at grading GA, it's a good thing I don't have any. Thank you very much for all the hard work, @Point Five, these grading competitions are the most fun you can have on the boards.
  14. I don't care about South Park. I don't care for the Journal section. I want the old journal forum back I do care for I but not Marwood (or is it the other way round?) You seem an alright guy, but 'care'? Maybe after the third date.
