  1. I've not heard of this production issue before on any comics but I'm far from the most knowledgable boardie, sorry.
  2. A 2" tear on an internal page is too much for a 7.5. A solid 7.0.
  3. Yes, it's safe. Look at the sales threads on here, the majority of those books are scanned.
  4. All I can see from that pic is that it's got a slight stacking curl & some spine wear, however I can't tell how much. I can tell you it's not any higher than a 8.0 but I can't give any more than that. You need to use closer and sharper pics (scans ideally) if you want an informed opinion from the boards.
  5. No, I would say, I want to see it close up before I can make a reasonable assessment of it's grade.
  6. Too far away from the book to give a reasonable assessment.
  7. I would not call that a small stain, it looks like it goes through the book which has probably resulted in the colour lift. Is there water damage at the bottom of the book as well? At the moment I would think it's in the 4.0 range due to the rest of the book looking quite sharp.
  8. Generally you're right, pence copies sell for 50% to 70% of their cent cousins but if the book is really hot I've seen them sell for close to the US versions. At the moment that would be FF 4, ASM 6, not so much. Regarding the grade, hesitantly in lieu of sharper pictures, I'll go 7.5.
  9. It's got more of a delicate bottom if anything. I reviewed it here.
  10. Nice to see you on the boards again, Claudio. I've still got the FF48 you sold me, great book!
  11. "Just before his death, he developed the ability to shoot organic webbing from his buttocks." Now I'm supposing this happened after he had mutated into a giant spider but this then begs the question, do spiders have an arse? If so I should imagine (after a momentary ponder) that it would be quite bony. Perhaps retractable cushions would be more beneficial for a sustained crime spree than steel tipped winkle-pickers.
  12. Seconded. Definitely get this slabbed. I would say it's more like a 4.0 though.
  13. Hope you and your family are safe and well away from the devastation currently sweeping your nation, AJD.
