So now you are the Voice for 'most of us'. How can you make a statement like this and expect anyone to take your comments seriously ? Your statements are obviously not well thought out as you continually pull out random statistics to sound impressive. You have single handedly ruined this, and other, threads with your ridiculous comments in order to pump up books you own. Please consider taking a break from posting. We need a rest.

That sums it up.  Too bad I can't find the "Multi-like" button.

I like the looks of that one a lot -- title reds pop, although the cover isn't as white as I hope for in a HG #4.  Should fetch at least the $13k that the other 9.4 did, though?

If my collecting goal for the summer wasn't a #1, I could be tempted to upgrade my 8.5 #4 for that 9.4.  Gives me something to wrestle with at least.

I agree with Bob and Roy on this one...I looked for over two years for a white-covered copy and paid a pretty penny when the Marvel Art Review copy showed up on Comiclink (a 9.2 wp).  This one here looks like a 9.6 to me from the scan alone...several tiny issues as others have mentioned, along with the solid but not stunning cover presentation, makes it look just a hair below NM/MT.

ps here's the Marvel Art Review copy...scan doesn't even do its colors justice:

That's a killer looking book.  Any thoughts on the 9.4 with WH that just recently popped up on the Clink exchange?

  4. Thanks for the all congratulations and nice comments. Selling the book has been pretty weird for me and it's still sinking in.

I don't know if I'd say I have any regrets, but I can say owning the book is a lot more fun than not owning it. The money is nice and useful. And I can think of some fun things to do with it. But hookers and blow - a lot of hookers and blow- still won't hold a candle to a really sweet copy of Amazing Fantasy #15.

We might as well give the top census award for "Hookers and Blow" right now!

    Congrats on the sale.

A dollar each is a mega homerun!!! Very nice bro!!! :headbang:

Well, thanks. I was going to give them to the Goodwill store, but I guess I'll keep them now... lol:acclaim:

If you want, I'll give you two dollars a book, and you can donate that to Goodwill.

Wow, I almost went for that offer, but a complete stranger on the street said, "No way, man...those are worth at least $5 each..."

    :sorry:

    Damn that stranger!
