  1. what PR , I know that a few different cons have had concerts, Kirby Krackle comes to mind. Adam WarRock too.... I know they've played at/in conjunction with Emerald City Comicon and the CGS con out in Philly.... maybe it's the first time it's been done at a Wizard con... but they certainly havent thought of something new here... Awesome Con has a concert every year and they've only been around a few years. Benefit of doing a show in DC, it's so small you can do stuff in a few different places and people don't have to work much to get around.
  2. I have a few books for sale over in the Mixed Thread. Some Celeb, may be adding more soon. Many for sale reasonably well below GPA. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=9297395#Post9297395
  3. Thought, since I don't think I have I'd also share the cels on here as well as my Eastman nightwing sketch. The last two are my favorite things I've found at a con. My first ever con was Awesome Con 2014 and I found those and bought them about ten minutes into the show, before I had even had a chance to take in the whole show. Then a year later at Awesome Con 2015, Kevin Eastman as well as all four turtles were present, so I was able to get them all to sign them.
  4. I know that he isn't the biggest fan of the original cartoon but I have two cel's from the show that I have signed by Eastman and all the turtles in each cel. Has anyone been to this an seen him sign cel's or do you think he'd outright reject them? I figure I should get some information before I make the 9 hour drive. I haven't seen him signing animation cells before but I doubt he'd refuse to sign them, even if they're not his favorite items. I've seen him signing all sorts of things...t-shirts, toys, etc. A few years back I brought my copy of the ultra-rare TMNT Adult Comic to have Peter, Kevin, and Steve sign it. Initially, Peter said he wouldn't sign it because he hated the existence of it (and, quite honestly, it IS really nasty). But, shortly after he said no, he offered to sign it since I had come all that way. So, that was cool of him...since he wasn't involved in its creation anyway. So, if he signed this comic (rated XXX) then I can't see why he wouldn't sign an animation cell....which is rated G (regardless of his thoughts about the cartoon). Thanks, yeah I figured he probably would because I know in recent years he has expressed at least gratitude for what it did for ninja turtles as a whole. I Just don't want to go all that way to be turned down, it'd be heartbreaking. I also posted it as a question on the Shellback page.

  6. Finally moved all my trades from my old place to my new place and set everything up.
  7. Got these a few weeks ago but haven't had the chance to load them up here. Added James Marsters to a Alyson Hannigan Buffy book i picked up from Rich Milo Ventimigilia on an Edge of Spider-Verse #1 for those Ultimate Spider-Man TV show fans out there Thanks Steven French
  8. He was great as a seasoned, battle worn Batman. The problem for me was a large portion of the movie just served no purpose. I was forced to wait two hours through nonsense to get to the point of the whole movie, which I enjoyed.
  9. I could agree with that. I'm not sure I remember a single joke in the movie. The closest thing to a joke was a complete throwaway line that you'd only get if you remember a single reference earlier in the movie. The movie takes itself way to seriously, even beyond that of Nolan's trilogy.
  10. Saw it tonight. Massive spoiler in here. Not a spoiler: Absolutely abysmal use of music.
  11. It's 100% personal preference I think. Also cost is the signature. I'm willing to play around more and have fun with a guy who's sig is $40 versus $200. Example: I put Milo Ventimiglia on a Edge of Spider-Verse #1 (Spider-Man Noir cover). I might be one of the few people who knows or cares why I did it, but for a guy like Chris Evans, I personally am not willing to go with any cover.
  12. Watched the whole thing yesterday starting at 330 AM and took a few breaks along the way ending finally just after midnight. I just don't get the Jessica Jones hate. For me, it goes Daredevil Season 2 > Jessica Jones > Daredevil. Being able to watch a fully developed established Daredevil was even more fun then watching him become Daredevil. It was also fun watching how it would develop and trying to figure out how much direction they were getting from Miller, Bendis, or Brubaker's runs.
  13. Hawkeye #1 Aja signed Based on what seanfingh has said in the past, this may be only the fourth Aja book, unless more were done at London beyond this one.
  14. Meant to get up at 3. Ended up sleeping about 30 minutes later than than that. On episode 3 now.
  15. I regret not going this year and I might just go net year as an excuse to go to Portland.
  16. Just Finished putting this together. Sorry for the yellow light, just moved and haven't been able to change the lights out yet.
  17. Holy that is amazing. He is going to be at ECCC in April and was planning on having him sign a blank but I don't have someone to sketch him for me. Way awesome!!! Torrey organized the whole thing for me.
  18. Civil War #1 New Orleans Variant Signed by Joe and Anthony Russo Civil War: Prelude Joe and Anthony Russo Plays With Squirrels Sketch Signed by Will Friedle (Any Boy Meets World fans left out there)
  19. You beat me out for that, nice job! I was seeing Mel Brooks live at the time of the auction end, or it could have gone much higher.
  20. That's great! I wish I known that cover had existed. I would have gotten the same thing, I ended up just getting Eisenberg/Newbern on a separate piece.
  21. I liked it. It's fun, and I think that's the most important thing. It has a lot of room to grow, plus any excuse to watch DB Woodside is fun. I've missed him since Buffy.
  22. I can't stand either. There's just to much sneering in every word that Wentworth Miller speaks and Dominic Purcell seems like he needs to breathe to much. I've never been a Heatwave fan, but I've always loved Captain Cold so I'm a little disappointed. I'm a bit worried they'll bring Legends of Tomorrow down.
