  1. I know it's not a book, but it's comic related and I just wanted to give a HUGE thank you to Yagyare for getting this back to me! Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, Brian O'Halloran, Michael Rooker, Stan Lee, Bryan Johnson, and Joey Lauren Adams
  2. This just came back. Dr. Horrible #1 signed by Nathan Fillion and Felicia Day.
  3. I wonder if season 2 will have more interaction of characters since by that point, Luke and the Punisher will both be things. I would like to see Jessica Jones being Matt Murdoch's body like she was when he was trying to hide that he was Daredevil.
  4. Batman #655 Kubert Variant Iron Man #18 Ming Na-Wen Photo Variant Green Lantern #81 Foil Variant
  5. Batman #655 signed by Andy Kubert, Adam Kubert, and Grant Morrison. Thanks Doug!
  6. Just got these back. Thanks NYComics and Doug respectively! From my grandfather's collection, signed by Romita. A personal all time favorite cover, signed by JG Jones and Grant Morrison
  7. I only bought the color set, B&W store variants are rarely all that great, but JSC is an outlier on almost everything he touches. Ms. Marvel #2 1:20 Marvel 92 Variant isn't bad either. Sellers aren't trying to hype that cover as much as the Silk #3 cover though. I'm just starting to build a JSC set (all colour, no sketch Marvel books) and I'm still trying to figure out if I want to do store variants or not. My problem is all those sweet books with Gwen on them which made me notice JSC in the first place are all usually Midtown variants. Jim There's also his store exclusive one, which I think is the best one.
  8. I'm just glad it appears to be Earth 2's Caitlin Snow that is evil and not the Earth One. They need to keep the key team as it is. I mean I'd be happy if they gave Cisco more to do as vibe, but I want the three of them to stay together.
  9. So interesting how we all can see things so differently since I thought he did a great job as Luke in Jessica Jones. I agree. I liked Luke Cage on the show. They missed some opportunities with him but his introduction was good I loved him on Jessica Jones. I think they did a good job introducing him and setting him up for what's next. I'm hoping that means that when his show comes out we won't need to much backstory, since we've already been introduced to where he came from and why he has the mindset he does.
  10. Yea...BUT, at least you know the grade when you get it signed yourself. Well if you are ordering this from his store you still don't know what grade the book is going to be signed or unsigned Would you rather pay for a VF cover or pay more for a signed VF cover ....? Well it was NM before someone wrote their name on the cover with marker. All kidding aside though, I've had great luck with his site. Everything I've ordered has been NM.
  11. Ended up picking up the unsigned colored and sketch set, I'd rather get them signed in person. I love Campbell's covers and I love connecting covers, so this was inevitable. I've got a huge stack of Campbell book at this point, all of which I'd like to get signed. I wonder if he'd ever do Baltimore Comic Con.
  12. that's just... wow $500.......damn I think they were going for $750 to get them picked up and graded at NYCC or SDCC from what I heard. There's one on eBay for $3000 that I'm glad is that much cause it keeps me from considering getting it. $3K? Who would be dumb enough to buy it when he can just order an original art for that price directly from him. It was graded, so maybe they thought they would get it that way? It's gone since this morning.
  13. I actually feel Flash trying to go out of its way to not be Smallville. It's embracing a full formed superhero world and providing us with way more depth of character. The only real disadvantage of that is that Flash has it's moments of predictability when you already know names, but Smallville didn't really have that.
  14. Well, the Inhumans are a subspecies of human, and have their powers naturally inside them only needing activation. Does that count? Oh yeah, thats kind of true, especially since we likely won't see any mutants.

  16. stop after season 5 and pretend the rest never happened +1 I either lost interest and didn't watch enough episodes or have forgotten exactly what happened, but didn't they end up explaining Mulder's sister's disappearance as her being the victim of a serial killer? I vividly recall one episode painting that picture, but I can't rule out subsequent episodes reversing that idea. She was abducted by the aliens, returned (but returned to the Spender's) and then a few years later, she was snatched by a serial killer & died that way. It was the show's way of kinda concluding the "where is she?" question without needing to ever actually put her on screen as an adult & having her tell her story to her brother. Right, but that's if you don't count the multitude of clones they showed on screen of her... I think the turning point for me, was the Luke WIlson vampire episode. It was the first episode I found to be truly bad, instead of boring like the occasional boring episode prior. different strokes. written by the Breaking Bad mastermind Vince Gilligan, Bad Blood is considered by IMDB voters as one of the best X-Files episodes. easily one of my top 10. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0751081/ There are a lot of Vince Gilligan episodes I love. I hear that a lot of people love it, I just couldn't get into it, maybe I'll have to revisit it later on.

  18. I also gave up at episode 2. Too many other things to take away my attention. For TV entertainment, DD, Gotham, and Agent Carter are enough. I have enough trouble catching up with all those episodes. Flash, Arrow, Supergirl... none of those shows do anything for me either. I really wanted to love Supergirl, but i just couldn't get past how cheesy it was, but after I learned of what happened in the most recent episode I may have to revisit it.
  19. Yeah, personally I'm super excited to see how all that plays out and if both of them last long or if one dies quick.
  20. I wish things hadn't been so spoilery in previews. The most exciting part of the episode for me, the appearance of Wally at the end, was spoiled in passing in an article. I'm hoping that they somehow give him speed somewhere down the line, although not necessarily in this show. I'm a little wary of having multiple speedsters in the same universe all the time, though I'd love to see Jay and Barry truly team up.
