Yea I see edge of spider verse 2 proves have dropped a lot but I’m wondering if it’ll continue to drop for say another 2 months or so.   I’m trying to buy in before it goes crazy again 

I was thinking 1st silk and 1st spider Gwen but wonder if prices will continue to go down?

Just curious if you think now is a good time to be buying modern books you want or if you think prices will continue to drop?  I’m trying to not buy in when prices are still up on books.  I do know we are in a recession but do you think the comics will dive in value more or stay where they are at now?

got these too!  It’s pretty sweet:).  Any idea on the dc Harley cover as the eyes glow in the dark.

lucky!  I bought the fearstate and the I am Batman and both packs had none. 

So is it only the I am batman packs that have the rwyb comic in it?

Yep that’s the one.  Sorry I thought I had put issue 17 before the 2nd print.  But yea I guess I lost touch with this comic.  I could of sworn around April it was still $2500 in cgc 9.8.  Guess the days and months are just mixing together now.  This cover is one of the worst covers I’ve ever seen, but if others like it, cool.  I just can’t believe it’s going for that crazy amount and it’s not even her 1st appearance.

I'm just happy that when I was looking for Captain Marvel Comics when they announced the movie, I had to "settle" for the second print at 4.99. It's now a CGC 9.4, but I'm considering getting it pressed as it should grade higher.

Yea the 2nd print. I’m kicking myself as a comic shop by me had literally hundreds of copies of this printing on their shelf for almost 2 years after it came out.  The cover is freaking ugly in my opinion.  On eBay and a 9.8 was approaching $5k with time to bid and a 9.6 is listed about $5k.  Other 9.8s are listed at 6k and higher. 

Since when did a 2014 captain marvel 2nd print in Cgc 9.6 or 9.8 hit $4,000 or more?  Wasn’t it like $2000 6 months ago?  I’m all for people making money but surely this is out of line or are modern keys now more important than some silver age keys?

Prices seemed to have cool down a bit in my opinion, but how long till they start heating up again?

You know what I have like 10 copies of shadow hawk 1 and there’s rumors of a movie, come and get them!!

I still don’t get why people are speculating on skaar when he probably won’t be introduced for a few years if ever.   It’s just insane that people are speculating on 2nd tier characters when marvel still has plenty of 1st tier characters to introduce in order to get to the other characters.  And this will probably take years to get to.  In the year till that happens, don’t people realize if we go into a recession, most of those books will be up for sale flooding the market and be easier to get at a cheaper price while waiting for the character to eventually appear in a movie or show?

How so?   There is no guarantee the dark reign young avengers will be in the mcu.   It could be any team with kid Loki or a alternate Loki in his teens or what not, on any assembled team they choose to use.  

Man people really are jumping on dark reign young avengers now too?   Yea it has a young Loki on the team, but marvel could have him joining the original young avengers team, or even create a team not seen in the comics.  Why jump the gun over one episode?  If anything, you should get the 1st app of kid Loki in my opinion.  I own neither, but still if I was a betting man I’d go with that book first. 

Honestly after looking at the preview pic in quotes, that costume looks crummy to me.  Also, why is Eddie Brock so old looking now? He even has a cane??

What’s the better one to buy to speculate on?

Oh sh*t.  Sorry. I thought this was out last Wednesday and that is how people saw the new venom costume.  

I think the Gleason cover is the nicest of the bunch.  Anyone have a pic of Dylan as venom?

Seriously I’m starting to worry about the future for a lot of these people. I understand keys like amazing fantasy 15, hulk 181, etc will always have some value or retain value, but non key books or non big name heroes going for these ridiculous prices?  I have a few books I thought I’d never sell as they mean something to me but aren’t major keys or anything like that, I’m now tempted to just sell all my books and just rebuy them when the inevitable market downturn begins

I saw a rumor about Ben Reilly going to be in a Sony movie.  Anyone know if this is true?

Do you think now would be a good time to grab an invincible 1 graded 9.8 or go for a lower grade at this point?  It seems a 9.8 is about $9k.  Maybe settle for a 9.6 or 9.4?

Question is how long will this last?  I’m already seeing signs of things slowing down already with the economy and 1 of my good friends whose pretty wealthy after investments he made in the stock market and crypto world, has been warning me that he is seeing signs of things possibly coming crashing down in terms of the economy.  Unemployment is drying up, prices of goods is going up, and inflation is starting so who knows how long any of these 1st appearances will be able to hold value, in terms of the newer and no name 1st appearance comics.
