  1. I don't comment much Marwood, but I do enjoy your antics https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Stories-of-BRIDES-IN-LOVE-24-1961-Charlton-Silver-Age-Romance-Comic-VF-8-0/392191839971?hash=item5b50748ee3:g:y6IAAOSwAQVb6lN1 I was following this on ebay but forgot to bid!
  2. You can easily avoid danger with M4s by sandwiching the book between 2 backboards to insert, then removing the front one. Or, combine with an M2 makes for a nice package. I say tape!
  3. So you're saying it's a direct book with a upc, not a ns at all? Wasn't Spidey 1 gold available on newsstands?
  4. Yes this. I'm not aware of any comics that come with clothes. @Pete Marino
  5. Now that is a great cover made all the greater for the printing on the bag. I sure hope CGC notes it on the label as 1st force beam hole comic.
  6. If they can encase DC 100 page giants then there's room for a 90's book with trading card or bi-fold poster. Not aware of the headband book.... My point is- if you're messing with the book as it came from production, it should get a green label caveat. In a hobby where people obsess over minute details in grade, I'm surprised this is controversial.
  7. Seriously, what other books would you be ok with the graders removing parts from before they encase it?
  8. I guess I'm of 1992 mind on this as I would still consider these to be incomplete without bag and cards. If I were interested in a slabbed copy of X-Force 1... I'm not... I'd definitely want the bag included. They could at least give you the option.
  9. @RockMyAmadeusSeriously, what other books would you be ok with the graders removing parts from before they encase it?
  10. CGC has it wrong on these. They should be getting green label incomplete if removed from the bag without the card and creases from said items should be considered production.
  11. I think in the general market, the word 'Canadian' turns many would-be collectors off.
  12. I like it. It's tough sometimes determining these from the regular newsstands.
  13. Agree. Heavy hitters like ASM300 get flipped a lot so you have the same copy popping up. And why not do one book for every year? Wouldn't be that much more work.
  14. It's pretty nice. Corner creasing near the upc. VF+ I think at least.
  15. I would've passed it right by except for this thread! Good stuff here.
