  1. "Uranium is heavier than iron." No wonder people don't understand the difference between weight or mass and density. They're taught wrong from the beginning. (Pet peeve.)

Welll...it is heavier on the charts... (shrug)

  2. Here's my take for the week...

    Space Action #2

    spaceaction2.jpg

    :applause:

Now, looking at the cover, is the spaceman upset because he shot the girl? I mean.....his space gun was recently fired and the creature seems to be just fine... hm

    (shrug)

I'm not sure if that's a spaceman at all, what with those dainty fingers on the gun and the lipstick.

    Maybe he's an extra-terrestrial metro-sexual ... hm

  3. I don't want to steal Sharon's thunder, but while we are on ACTION's ...

I just got this in the mail today... ACTION 14. It was an ebay purchase from a non-dealer, so I took a chance, and am very happy with the book. Its VERY solid (both staples attached, CF firm), nice corners, very decent paper (would probably get a cream-to-off white from CGC if submitted, but it fits my standards!). I would be curious to see what it would get from CGC ... i would peg it at a 3.5, and I can't find any resto work on it. Pressed out it would be real nice.

My first ACTION!! And the main reason I didn't buy anything at the Cali Con yesterday...

    Guardineer cover! :cloud9:

SUP Siegel and Shuster, Bob Kane, B. Bailey, plus two Guardineer stories! :cloud9::cloud9:

Damn fine book...I was eying that on eBay as well...Nice Action to start with... (thumbs u :cloud9:

California one-day Comic Con out in Yorba Linda today, hosted by Terry's Comics.

Great to see many friends and fellow collectors there, including RareHighGrade, Socratic Wonder, and RyanH.

The room contained a surprising number of sexy GA books, and I was fortunate to obtain a few:
