1 week after agreeing to purchase advertised and unadvertised lots he has seen fit to not respond to read pm's. Deal has thus been nullified and I no longer wish to do business with sd2416 anymore.

How freakin' hard is it to communicate at least some form of response after the 3 pm's have been sent over the course of a week. Anyway...in my book it's 3 strikes and your out...'nuff said...

    WOW!...Thanks ArAich,

I just contacted him yesterday about a lot he had for sale...funny thing he responded promptly last night to the pm , but I've still heard nothing since all day and tonight. :(

He may be a better seller than he is a buyer... :wishluck:

  3. Excuse my ignorance, do you collect the run by title, publisher or something else.

I was actually being somewhat facetious when I said I collect the whole run...as far as BLB's go, I try to get all the same of either the title or the character such as ...Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers or in this case Maximo the Superman... ;)

  4. Here's a cool book that is a keeper for my collection...the 1st appearance of Smokey Bear...in this he tells how the Indians used fire responsably and that it was when the "white man" came to America that fire became a big problem ...

  5. WHy is it better than the DEntist? Eric has a few top copies, a killer Tec run, and a smattering of other keys. At least from what I see on the website. Dentists has tons of books, and has Aces to Eric's kings on most of the keys. including of course the Top Two.

    What am I missing here?

We are getting off topic so I won't elaborate to much. The dentist doesn't have

OT yet on topic...to me...just because you have some really great CGC books doesn't mean you have the best collection...What rare books does he have???...What is the depth of his collection???... hm

I think the CGC mindset blinds a lot of people to view a persons collection as a whole...Take Bangzooms collection...now that's depth... :cloud9:
