  1. Bought some Copper Age Amazing Spider-Man issues from Ed during his recent “Venom Venom Carnage Venom” sales thread.  Accurate grades, well packed and quick shipping!! Thank you, Ed!

  2. Just received this back from on-site grading at Baltimore Comic Con.  Every graded multi cover I have seen lists a separate grade for each cover.  This does not.  Is this a mistake or does CGC not break it out when both covers grade the same?  I didn’t catch it when I picked up my books at the end of the day.  Thought I would ask here before I call CGC.

Just a heads up, I found a book I wanted and I made an offer. When it was accepted, I could NOT add it to my cart. The seller might have it disabled. It was OK, saved me some other money...but  you can't always add accepted offers to your cart it seems.

I sold a book, too...so all is good:)

This happened to me too. What I did was close out the eBay app and when I opened it back up the accepted offer was in my cart and I was able to apply the coupon!

  4. I made it to two of the three suggested. Heroes Aren’t Hard to Find was a cool shop and very close to where I stayed.

Nickel Spot was about a 20 minute drive but well worth it.  I really liked their selection and prices were reasonable. Picked up a few items.

    Thanks for the suggestions!

    Hi.

I know I never posted in the forum on CGC before but I am asking for information I would like to know from some comic book experts or people that know them.

Is "The Amazing Spider-man #252" from 1984 any special to be a key comic that can go above $1,000-$4,999 if you have Stan Lee's autograph on there? And what is the best variant to be worth more? The original or the Mark Jewelers?

I would like to know because this the 50% first appearance of Venom. And I happened to find a CGC'ed copy of it on ebay selling for $9,300 now.

I believe the copy listing on eBay for $9300 is a 9.8 double cover.

Was the Baltimore market the city, the county or did it extend to other parts of the state?

Sorry,  meant this reply to ft88’s post.
