  1. So did the 4.0 that just ended go higher or lower then expected? I Though it was going 10K+
  2. I told myself repeatedly I wasn't going to bid on anything. But I broke down. I couldn't help myself. the last "big" one I need for a little 1-11 run
  3. I Would be Happy with $2500 but if it does for more that would be awesome. Ill probably try selling it here first and then go the auction route. Thats very true. I Have seen that as well. But it goes the other way as too. For sure! Ill let you know if/when it sell.
  4. Fresh back from cgc! I had plans to keep this one but I owe an auction house a Fairly significant sum of money. So Ill probably have to throw it up on the selling block. Does $2500OBO sound fair to you guys? Next to no sales data and I got a pretty good deal on it (I think).
  5. Out all all the GA I own this is the one I get asked to sell the most. Low grade but its the best copy I could find that was still somewhat "affordable". I have been trying to upgrade for some time. Maybe some day but im very happy regardless!
  6. Probably. But I love it regardless!
  7. Added another baker to the hoard from Saturdays heritage auction. 3.0 phantom lady 23. But I dont think I can post a pic till I get it and crack it out.
  8. Yea there are so many things to like about the cover, The Monsters are certainly unique. I really like the nice touch of the monster getting blasted by the ship in the background. Lovely copy! if you ever want to downgrade let me know
  9. Thanks so much! I got a nice bundle deal on it and a Famous funnies 213. Oh wow that is a lot of variation. These Fiction house books are funny man. It seems no two have the same color strike.
  10. I agree #2 is my favorite. They are! I think they are about as good as they can be considering the wear on the book.
  11. i'm By no means an expert but I would have to assume it would come back restored. Weather it was intentional or not its probably covering up some flaws on the bottom of the cover. That or they give it a blue and slam the grade. They would probably hit it a little anyways for the staining on the back. But its a Gorgeous looking book regardless.
  12. My first time posting in this thread, I always kinda avoided planets as the run is huge and the last thing I need is to get even more distracted from my collecting goals. But I can resist temptation no longer. I like the planets with the rivets and 70-73. Figured ill start at both ends and meet in the middle lady and the tramp style. Got this one over the weekend, its missing the back cover but hey planet 2 is planet 2. Ill post the late issues later.
  13. I Always wondered about the double boxing. I typically try and use a "used" box for the interior. But it dosent ways happen.
  14. Wartime romances 15, Low Grade with significant water damage but complete and attached. Id call it a 1.8 $145 $125
