I thought the More fun 52 ended very strongly considering how weak of a 3.0 it was. I Think the tec 27 would have sold much better on any of the big 3 auction sites. I would think were going to see it for sale again very soon.

To the OP I owned your 0.5 tec 37 over the fall/Winter of last year, I got it in a trade at Baltimore. But for some reason when I had it it was in the other guys holder . Not sure why it was reslabed. I would have much preferred it to be in the CGC case. I owned it for a few months but sold it to help fund my more fun 73. Book lives in Singapore now.

I think thats probably what happened. I put my bid in with the intention to comfortably win. But it wasent close to what the book ended at.

I think helped out your DS17 quite a bit. Every time I got outbid past $1800 or so the bidding would stop until I bid again. I wanted the book but whoever won wanted it more.

Personally I always thought it was a baker cover, But im by no means an expert. I only have a handful of baker covers. I just know there has been some controversy over the cover in the past. Agreed, Even if it was 0% Baker its still a wonderful book.
