  1. Getting my hands on one of these is a grail for me. Thanks for sharing!
  2. I’m loving these “pedigree-specific” threads. Let’s see those Nova Scotias!
  3. Certain books have definitely spiked in the last year or so (mostly cover-related). Early TFTC in anything above 7.0 is tough even at 1.5/2x OPG.
  4. Keep it going! This thread is an everlasting gobstopper of PCH!
  5. Great grab-thanks for removing the temptation because I almost pulled the trigger more than once! That book is as rare as hen’s teeth and one of only 2 Sgt Spook covers in the run (and the best of the two!)
  6. Invoices have been sent out and I’m shutting down this shop. Look for another thread from me pretty soon.
  7. Invoices go it later today. Final bump for Marvel Tales at $550.
  8. Social commitments are going to prevent me from adding more to this thread today so let’s go 10% off for the two remaining books (Marvel Tales, Journey Into Unknown Worlds) so I can wrap it up. Taken or not, I’ll close it out and invoice everyone tomorrow.
  9. Last book of the night, but I plan on having more tomorrow. Who doesn’t love skeletal romance? These two kids waited a little too long to elope, if you ask me. This book is tough to find in grade due to its black cover. Here is your chance at a solid fn with ow page quality, on a book that doesn’t come up for sale often. $600 takes it. SOLD
  10. Mysterious Adventures 6 is one of those covers that I’ve always loved. Seriously what is it with undead corpses and people in boats tonight? A CGC 8.0 went for $3,120 at auction in November. This one is a very nicely presenting vg, with ow page quality and the biggest defect is the spine which could be corrected by pressing, if that’s your thing. Take it from me for $500. SOLD!
  11. Moving to a more affordable book, this one sports a nice Bill Everett cover with two undead corpses chases a couple in a car off of a cliff. It’s a vg/fn with ow pages. $200 takes it.
  12. By popular request I’m going to add another book, possibly even a few more before the night is done. Tomb of Terror 16 is a personal favorite of mine. It gets overshadowed by its younger cousin with the exploding head on the cover, but I think this vengeful corpse drowning a man while his girl looks on in horror is a cool image in its own right. There haven’t been many sales on this one at this level, so let’s start it off at $900. SOLD!
  13. One more down, another one takes its place. Up next is a killer cover featuring a reanimated corpse stalking a guy from behind a tombstone. Very underrated and not on a lot of people’s radar...yet. Last month an unslabbed 3.5 sold here for $350. This is a slabbed 6.0 OW. Steal it from me for $650. PRICE LOWERED: $550
  14. One down, so the next one is on deck. This is another high demand book that’s tough in decent shape. The cover is a swipe from Jack Davis’ splash in Vault of Horror 26, the girl is swiped from Andru/Esposito’s cover on Adventures Into Darkness 10. This issue was used in SOTI. It’s an iconic image and a great representation of precode horror. A 3.0 CR/OW sold at auction for $663, last month a 5.0 OW/W sold here on the boards for $1000. Grab this 5.5 OW/W for $1400. SOLD!
