  1. 6 unrestored copies in the census, topping out at a 5.0. I'm thinking this will beat that....
  2. Absolutely incredible book and if I hadn’t just made a major purchase it would already be gone!
  3. I have seen a few lists and I think the question was even asked here a few years ago. I’d love to see a list too, but one of the problems is with consensus. Some covers that didn’t used to have the “classic cover” CGC notation now do, and some covers that everyone considers classic might not be “officially” recognized as such.
  4. I'm very happy to have gotten this copy of Haunt of Fear 10 recently from a boardie. This is my first Northford pedigree!
  5. Adventures Into Weird Worlds 17, 3 copies on the census. 6.0 is the highest.
  6. Nice grab-especially with only 7 copies in the census, compared to 24 for #22 and 37 for #23. TOUGH book!!

  8. This book is TOUGH in grade. I’ve been looking for a 5.0-7.0 for a few years now. Congrats!
  9. Science 1 was cover dated January of 1946 and was on the stand in October of 1945. Action 101 didn't come along until much later with a cover date of October 1946 which would have put it on stands in August. Unless I'm missing something...
  10. I was happy to score this recently from a boardie. Four Favorites #27 from 1947, with a nice early Rudy Palais horror cover.
  11. This just arrived in the mail: Science Comics #1 from January 1946. This would have been on the stands just a few months after the end of the war and is the first depiction of a mushroom cloud over Hiroshima cover that I’m aware of.
  12. I can't believe I posted this to social media yesterday for Johnny Craig's birthday but neglected to share it here:
  13. My favorite Feldstein cover, happy to find one in decent shape:
