Great to see new life in this thread! Here’s my contribution, a pic taken last October of my favorite PCH covers that I have multiples of. It’s gotten worse since then.... Anyone else an issue hoarder?

Spacemen, no doubt. Why would a robot need assistance in breathing? The red part of the suit flows too well for it to be covering a robotic form (I could MAYBE concede a cyborg....maybe!).

What it looks like the artist is going for here are asbestos fire-fighting suits, used in the 1940s and 1950s for fighting high heat fires.

Not underwater yet, but I have a feeling that’s where she’ll end up.

The man was an absolute legend. I love his Spider-Man work, of course, and his pre-hero Marvel stuff is terrific, but for me, his precode work is among the best done during that era.

It went to a boardie....? In hand it is closer to a 7.0-8.0, depending on the grade. I put it easily at a 7.5 with no resto. The pics in the listing didn’t do it justice.

I’m curious as to the location/existence of 2 of the Edgar Church pedigreed Adventure Comics from the pre-hero run. Since 33-36 and 38 & 39 are slabbed and have been sold at Heritage, their existence is easily enough confirmed. That leaves 32 and 37 unaccounted for. The original sale catalog as posted on Mike High Comics’ site lists a 37, but no mention of a 32. So, my question is this: is there a known Church Adventure 32, and where did the 37 end up? It hasn’t been slabbed, since the highest unrestored in the census is a 5.0.

Thanks! It was a big upgrade for me. I have one that’s about a 6.0 but has a sealed spine split.

Honestly around a 7.5/8.0. There isn’t much wrong with it. The biggest issue is the light dust shadow on the right hand side.
