I got it. I’ve never seen a 5% one before.

It’d be cool to see Donny Cates on Punisher #hypetrain

It was a variant cover circa 2014 so it’s not worthy of much praise

LOVE this book and super jealous.
Give me a buzz if you ever decide to sell it ...
It is a sweet book... if I was living in the streets it’d be one of the only books I’d keep in a backpack

I wouldn’t mind continuing with this, but no more space left before the collection begins to spread around and turn into an obtrusive hoard.
Another reason I switched to the digital format.
I hear ya, I guess it just depends on how much space you have available. I’m getting pretty full myself, but still find room. I know what I plan to buy for the next 6 months and can make room for that. Digital reading may happen in the future for me, but I don’t see myself ever selling off my current collection to switch completely. I must have a physical library. I’ll just become a lot pickier in what I buy when space becomes extremely limited.

I mostly buy trades/hardcovers because that’s my favorite way to read comics and I love the way they look on shelves. I love getting lost in stories and art and supporting those who put so much work into them. Then of course discussing the stories with other fans.
I also buy the occasional gold/silver book just to own something so old and appreciate the history. Ponder where it’s been. Keep it tucked it away and maybe share with kids in the future.
I like to Slab covers I really like (from any era) because I think it’s a cool way to display them. I also love getting celeb and creator autographs and getting the Signature Series designation.
Most options applied to me. I’m definitely addicted but it hasn’t caused any health or financial problems yet

My first original art page arrived this week. My only collecting goal for this year. Had to be an Ed McGuinness Deadpool. I had slightly considered other DP art besides Ed, at cheaper prices, but knew that I’d regret it if I didn’t focus on what I really wanted. Anyways, this is a splash page from Deadpool #3 from 1997.
The whole run is easily in my top 3 comic series. In this particular issue Deadpool is trying to grow back his middle finger after a fight with Taskmaster in #2.
Here is the actual page:
Very happy to own it. Excited for it to get done at the framers.

Does Death heavily tie into the Sandman series? Is it a "must-own" if I'm looking to complete it?
Having not read it I’m not exactly sure, but I’d say it would be a must own if you’re a Sandman fan.

While I find gw's behavior quite suspect and wouldn't be surprised in the least to learn he fabricated the story of misplacing it, only a complete newb to these boards would think it prudent to speak up for himself at this point. The piling on would be both swift and fierce.
As @punksdropdirtysrh ends with, HoS is more fitting. The terms for inclusion on the probation list are being stretched here, and that's bad precedent.
Well he’s not speaking up because he knows he did wrong. We know he did wrong. I’d like to think most of us are mature enough that we would at least entertain a sincere apology without lighting the torch.

Why are people so dumb?

They are reprinting Absolute Death sometime this year I think, so if you follow Instocktrades or the like you can nab it for around $50 when it comes out. I still haven’t got one either, or Overture.

First time giving my opinion on this drama , but I have been watching since the beginning and did vote to keep him on there.
He (Geezus) has not had anything to say this whole time so that is enough evidence to me that he doesn’t care, he can’t even apologize or try to act like his presence on the boards means 2 shiznits to him. At this point it would be great even if he could just admit that, yeah, he sold it for more $, it happens, sorry guys, let’s laugh it off and still be friends. Nope, can’t give a peep. Peace out buddy. HoS does make more sense, though.
