  1. A small haul from In Stock Trades and one eBay auction win Excited to check out Eternity! Artwork looks amazing as always.
  2. I got there late around 1130 because of all the road construction coming in then all the traffic which is to be expected. Then trying to park by our hotel downtown (my first time staying downtown so this was definitely a learning experience for me and will not do it again) so I was in a bad mood already...got to the show and the lines super long... by then I didn’t care to submit so I said it. Line wasn’t moving at all. People were holding short boxes full of books. Yikes. I had 5. Oh well. Walked the show for a bit. Then my buddy got sick and we had to go back to the hotel. Not a smooth first day at all but I’ll give it another shot Saturday.
  3. Oh that’s probably why they haven’t charged me yet. I’ll be by 1030 so I should be okay.
  4. I would think if you already filled out the online sub form that would guarantee you’ll get service...? As long as you show up Friday
  5. Not sure if it’s pressable. I just see a lot of scuff marks on the back cover....pretty common for those I think considering the black.
  6. Here is Dobby by Tony Moore. He recently did a set of Harry Potter theme prints and this was my favorite.
  7. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Walking-Dead-3-VF-7-5-1-Book-1st-Dale-Donna-Carol-Amy-Kirman-Tony-Moore-/192497481279?txnId=0&redirect=mobile Still surprised I won this...perhaps not a steal due to the condition (I think it looks pretty good) but I’ve been waiting for awhile to get one for less than $150.. I don’t need my early Dead books to be minty.
  8. RED HOOD AND THE OUTLAWS #21 PUNK’S NOT DEAD #3 DESPICABLE DEADPOOL #298 SPIDER-MAN/DEADPOOL #31
  9. When Chum gave her $500 I knew it was a bad deal she was asking $2,000
  10. I did my online submission and purchased a reholder and it seemed to work. I placed the order last Wednesday and they still haven’t charged me though.
  11. Yep same here. My buddy ordered a week or so after me, he lives in the same area as me, and got his last week. I’ve accepted that I’ll be waiting in the will call line.
  12. Got this beauty in today. Gets my award for best Metal variant. Although this and #5 have a wretched bottom right corner ding that I fear will keep them from 9.8. Since I couldn’t bear spending the money to get 9.6 or less...raw they shall remain.
  13. Lots of hype for this series. In a way I feel like I’m supposed to like it...but it didn’t have too much of a Wow factor for me. The Dark Knights single issues were fun I’ll give it that. Definitely worth checking out. But as a whole...seemed forced and lacked real substance. Almost like the Justice League movie... I will pick it up in collected format...even if it’s just for the art and eventual nostalgia. Thinking about selling all my singles now. Been wondering what sort of value these might hold a year or so from now.
  14. I really want to go but it seems more and more impossible each year. I love buying books at shows don’t get me wrong, but with all the travel expenses that accompany going to that show there has to be more juice to it than just books for me. Us midwestern folks can get pretty starry eyed vs the locals who stood behind Chris Evans that morning for coffee
  15. I’d still love to attend SDCC one day. While I’d probably look around, my main motivation would not be buying comics. Thats typically my reason for attending a show, But with SDCC it’d be all about Hall H for me. I can buy comics any time I want, but getting to be in the same room with my favorite celebrities is much more exciting to me. I have read that if you’re going to SDCC tonattend the Hall H panels...that’s pretty much all you’ll be able to do. Lots of waiting involved. Probably lots of claustrophobia and frustration. But if that’s my only chance to see, for example, the cast of Game of Thrones in person and perhaps have a chance to interact with them, it’s worth it for me. I can be a star struck nerd sometimes, and I know lots of people think things like that are pathetic. i understand the frustration of the number one Comic Con in the world being less and less about comics, and some people couldnt give a if they were in front of Robert Downey Jr or whoever, , but obviously for many people it means a lot and I still think (hope) it would be a fun experience. IT is indeed a Media con.
  16. If I were you I’d try to post an ad on Craigslist or the like to gauge interest locally to avoid the hassle of shipping.Could take em to a local shop but they’re not going to pay GPA most likely. I suppose it would depend how much $ you need. I’d think you could get close to gpa for 1, 19, 27 and perhaps some of the other single digit issues, but for all the rest you might get offered pennies on the dollar if they want the whole set. Especially those after issue 100. Most fans caught on by them and have all those issues. I see a lot of sellers that ask way too much for their 1-current IMO. I’m no expert but that’s my two cents. Hope you find a buyer and get your problems handled.
  17. I think we’ve already established in this thread that this invoice will not be shown but it can’t hurt to ask I guess
  18. Ahhh...It will feel great getting an Uber from the hotel this year
