  1. Other than the obvious (obvious I’m assuming is the #11 at 7.0), which would be the last one you sell?
  2. I’d go with this pair from Weird Comics, as long as they stayed true to their four-color roots.
  3. Yep. Glad it landed where it did. At the end of the Berk auction, I was holding the "highest graded" copy of this book (6.5). Now it's third highest graded. But at least the hammer price on the 7.0 helped sustain the value of my "mid-grade" copy.
  4. I agree with GreatCaesarsGhost — a hilariously entertaining historical romp through the twilight of Fox Feature Syndicate, Inc.
  5. I don't see any obvious wrinkles or creases...
  6. I'll get back to you on that. I suppose you'd prefer free shipping?
  7. I love this book. The color scheme alone is worth the 10 cents I paid for it!
  8. My favorite is the fourth row with the white socks. Talk about white pages socks!
  9. Thanks Steve. Fascinating stuff! Does CGC designate these as Moe books on the label? Or Moe and Berk books (if any of those had been slabbed around the time of the Berk auction)?
  10. I’m not familiar with the Claire Moe copy. I know of the artist. Was she the original owner of your book?
  11. Dang, this thread was getting sucked into the vortex of lost comics books, back on page 6 of the GA forum. Here's a double post (from the Cigar thread) of a tasty morsel I recently received.
  12. If anyone has an extra ticket, I'm happy to pay full price, plus 3 drinks of your choice and a hamburger on Tuesday.
  13. Just make sure to ask them for extra-GA-comic-strength dose!
  14. You know, there’s some pretty good medication for those symptoms nowadays!
  15. I would generally say, why bother, unless you’re going to sell soon. But, your point about pressing — since you’re going to re-holder — is a good one. I’d agree with Steve, then, on the press, bearing in mind that sometimes, perhaps rarely but not too rarely, pressing a GA book can go bad.
  16. Interesting analyses. During that auction I decided only to go after the issues that were highest graded (and not likely to be toppled by some interloper!). Though I must admit I broke that rule for the Planet 5, with a high bid up till near the end.
  17. Mystic #3 for me please! Cool board name BTW; I'm guessing something to do with a French philosopher?
  18. Now that’s a great splash page!! GLWTS.
  19. Wow, that Planet 36 has great looking colors!!! Usually a very drab color strike on this book.
