Been working on this run for a while and I have all of those or higher grades. DARN!!!! GLWTS!!!!

Picked up some Savage Conans from @Monster's Lair Comics and a couple other books for some runs. I normally have to miss this show every year, but it was a fun little show.

Yeah - I just don't get it having been to some of the other cons they are going to and knowing that Planet has a bigger attendance.

No I am not coaching this year.

Should be coming down on Saturday for it. See you there!!

Had a great first time and will definitely go back next year. I picked up a number of promotional comics, too many to provide pics of, and two copies of Heroic Comics and a Frontline Combat for my runs. Also, some other goodies that I could not leave behind. Great to see some folks from the board there. Saturday night dinner

Everything is packed in the car and there is going to be a trail of smoke as I leave the parking lot of work at 3:00pm today!!!!

After my day at work today, cannot wait for the weekend to get here!!!!

This is a first year con in the Kansas City area, the city of fountains, that I am a co-promoter of and hope to have a exciting first show. Just to add my own two cents in for what they are worth, not much I imagine, though I have not been to Wizard World Chicago, I really do enjoy going to C2E2 because they always have a great lineup of artist and other creators that I typically do not get to see at other shows. All of the major comic book dealers are there with some great books, especially golden age stuff, but I did not buy a lot last year and even less this year. I honestly felt like the majority of the books were way overpriced. When I compare my experience at C2E2 this year to Planet Comic Con, which was the following weekend, Planet seemed to have more comic dealers and prices were better. I have started to think of C2E2 of the con where I go to get artwork and maybe pick up a golden age book or two.

Able to work it out with our vacation plans and I get to spend a couple hours there Saturday before making the drive to Phoenix. Pretty excited to look at some great books and come home with some.

Sounds like a great lineup!!! Would love to come down, but doing a small one-day show in Kansas City. I am hoping to come down for the spring show next year.
