  1. My one and only OA page happens to be from #370 and features Black Cat in a panel, but not in costume Good luck with your hunt!
  2. Filled a hole in my run from the latest CL auction! This thread needs some more love.
  3. Awesome. You make it seem much easier than it is. I could easily use some of them for my own run, when are you selling?
  4. Always awesome to follow Filter81 selling threads, they are epic! Back in 2016 I made my three first and probably biggest purchases from the boards in such a thread, with a Hulk 1, a FF1 and a TOS 39. I still have them and love them!
  5. Your focus and dedication pays off man. What a group of awesomeness
  6. I guess this one qualifies Had a chance to take a selfie with it when I visited Metropolis last year.
  7. You can submit them to them through a 3rd party, or just ask them to ship them back to a trusted third party in the US. Then work with that 3rd party and get back your books to you in Spain with whatever method works best and feels safest for you. Thats what I have done the one and only time I submitted a higher end book for grading (I am in Sweden).
  8. Thanks! I hope this one is my keeper. I had actually won another 7.5 on eBay a few weeks ago and the seller cancelled the order one week after I had paid . But this one looks nicer anyway!
  9. Just won this on ComicLink! My first bigger book for 2019.
  10. How do you feel being the internet geek sensation of the day? I honestly saw this sale in each and every facebook comics related group I am in. Thanks for sharing those messages, some of them were really funny.
  11. Not bad But you got me wondering what books #19 - #21 were. Three AC1s?
  12. What about TTA27? It feels that this book is still undervalued and under the radar for many collectors.
  13. In the mode of John Romita Sr. Just received this beauty. Why are yellow silver and Bronze Age Spidey covers so sexy?
  14. Oh boy, I really love group shots like these. Thanks for sharing - awesome selection of books.
  15. Welcome to the most awesome thread of the boards! Your collection looks amazing and I really like how you display them. I am also down to around 60. Actually 69 + some upgrades. But why rush it ? ;-)
  16. Tell me about that! Yep, that's my keeper and it will never leave my house voluntarily
  17. I am SO happy to be able to share my ticket to the club! I submitted this raw to CGC, got a 9.2 and I honestly thought and accepted that it was lost for ever in the way from the US to Sweden. The tracking code stopped updating after a week and it had been silent for two weeks since then. USPS and the Swedish post had no idea where it was, which has never ever happened before. It showed up today, when I got a "reminder" that I had a package to receive in the post-office. For some out-of-this-world reason, the package was assigned a new "Swedish" tracking code when it arrived to Sweden, I never got a notification that it arrived and it was just sitting in the post office for two weeks. Geez...
  18. This is awesome, good luck. Always great to see a venue for older stuff here in Europe. I have already liked your FB page and I will be checking your website.
  19. Why is this thread not pinned? As a guy living in an apartment with kids and wife, I literally live my comic room fantasies through the photos in this thread . Keep them coming!
  20. Welcome to the Club. Please take a seat. I am getting you a cigar and your slippers. Awesome copy! Congrats!
  21. Price them at 70-75% of retail value after a strict / fair grading and you should sell these as a lot easily here on the boards, move them quickly saving you time and fees and have a happy buyer.
  22. Welcome. You definitely landed on the right place. I joined about two and a half years ago and just kept reading everything for months, before buying my very first graded book: an AF15 . I don't want to sound cheesy, but I will always be grateful to the boards and the folks here that so generously share their experience and knowledge. They made this hobby so much more fun and interesting for me.
  23. So many amazing covers in the Romita run. #41 is definitely one of them. Here is my copy:
