  1. No problems at all with Nick. Worked out a deal that we were both happy with and would definitely do business with again.
  2. I’d seen the colossus/juggernaut pack but something about the sculpt for the jug’s boots put’s me off on every version. I can’t shake the thought of the sound boots make when people drag their feet and that figure reminds me of all the kids that wore their timberlands loose when I was younger. It’s what nightmares are made of
  3. Another beauty arrived today and probably my favorite so far. Only 10 more to go I like the expression on the robotic head even though I probably won’t use it. I may try my hand at sculpting one with the same expression without the missing flesh one day
  4. No worries here. He’s a well respected member with whom I’ve interacted a number of times and like you he digs my artwork so I know he’s a cool dude.
  5. It’s 90 days now since I last checked. If you log in to your account on a desktop instead of the app, you can browse your history further back
  6. Sent my prize out today @Pablincheck your messages. There’s a discrepancy in the zip you provided but the postal clerk (supposedly) corrected it. Since you won 2 prizes, you may want to double check things and contact the other prize donor
  7. I was surprised it lasted long enough for me to claim it. I really liked the variety of books @ADAMANTIUMoffered. Things I never had on my radar always open my eyes to the coolest stuff
  8. Not to defend bad art but I feel like once you can accept guys running around in superhero costumes, the rest is non consequential. I get it though. Luckily, my collecting preferences never held me to “having” to get a specific book to complete some run which is part of what makes this hobby so appealing. Our collecting goals change too so I might end up in your same predicament one day. Ya never know
  9. Thank you 🙏🏼 Yes. I imported the pencil sketch to my iPad and took it from there. I tend to get a lot more done when I don’t have to worry about clean up and running out of supplies.
  10. Those are all nice but Simon Bisley stuff just wows me every time I see it
  11. It was after I’d sold it. The buyer removed it from the slab for a c&p and resubbed. I was happy for him for taking a chance. Win win
  12. Yes. First slab said it was trimmed on 3 edges. Resub was same grade universal
  13. Hmmmm, tough one. I made quite a few purchases this year and let a couple go including a GSX 1 resto that turned out not restored upon resubmission but I’ll go with these: gonna cheat a smidge with the 2 Crow issues as they should go hand in hand as acquisitions go the Fantasy Quarterly was purchased here on the boards in an Elfquest lot. It was something I wanted to add to the pc though not really a priority but when it popped up in the for sale thread at an awesome price I couldn’t pass it up …and finally, the 100 page spectacular. I’d been looking for a high grade copy for years and that one popped up on eBay at a steal bin price and I had to make it mine, all mine
  14. …and these guys just showed up for the party. Gosh, I have the best ex-girlfriends on the planet
  15. If anyone wants to try their hand at coloring, Todd McFarlane posted this one on his fb page encouraging anyone to give it a shot. My version is below
