I really needed to replace these and luckily found a seller with nicer copies than the one’s I’d sold a couple of years ago. (Initially posted in the wrong thread ) -

Saw someone mention it on YouTube about the funky pops boxes too. Before that it was completely off my radar -
To Press or Not to Press?
B2D327 replied to Chudders's topic in Comic Book Grading and Restoration Issues
There’s a possibility that trying to remove the eraser residue can result in some gloss removal too. Unslabbing doesn’t always result in a bump up in grade as indicated in many other posts and there’s the inherent risk of accidentally damaging the book but, hey no risk, no reward -

I doubt it was enforced once all the hoopla died down and all the recreational outrage moved on to something else. Plenty of silver and early bronze age books were printed with the pence price tags

A missing coupon doesn’t automatically receive a .5 it will however receive a comment on the label if “qualified” green or “universal” blue and graded accordingly -
ASM 14 Wrong Back Cover Questions
B2D327 replied to JoeJ's topic in Comic Book Grading and Restoration Issues
It all depends on whether you think you can remove the wrong cover without causing further damage and if it’s even worth trying and also how and if you intend to attach the newer cover. In any case, you should disclose the info to any potential buyer after making your decision to avoid opening a can of worms you might otherwise regret. You’d probably get more interested buyers if you leave it as is and let them decide what to do once they’ve paid and accepted it as described- 20 replies

Hope you don’t mind me posting the photo directly to the thread. From what I can see, the center wrap pq does vary slightly from the other page along with the stains at the bottom and also the chip missing. I would think the other pages closest to the cf would show similarities and although not 100% foolproof evidence of marrying, it would at least make me ask the question. Not to be misunderstood; I’m definitely not placing any blame on you. I’m just trying to better educate myself too. I’ve been collecting for about 45 years and even I run into things that are new to me

Anyone ever go down a grade after a resubmit?
B2D327 replied to Gruson's topic in Comic Book Grading and Restoration Issues
Having experimented on my share of squarebound books, one mandatory step when pressing is placing a sheet of paper between the covers and first/last pages for that specific reason. The staples used and their placement is completely different from a regular book. Your presser should have known better -
