  1. SuperGirl was apart of the fappening last year
  2. FF 3 is actually a nice cover, The characters just leap off the page! Pure Kirby!
  3. People just use backpacks so they can hit you with it when they turn around
  4. CGI looked bad? How else are they supposed to make a Doomsday? Man in a suit? Puppet? You must be a star wars fan. You don't have Anything to compare him too cause he doesn't exist
  5. Who cares what the defects are on a 9.8? Thrown that sheeeet on ebay and make some $$$
  6. Wow, I just checked those images.. that's DEFINITELY not a 9.8 Wow, I wish I could tell a 9.8 by looking at a 2-D image of a book in a slab like you can, I'm learning from the wrong people all along.
  7. Mine are in myslabbedcomics...click link in signature to see BB 25, 28, 37, 38 and 82
  8. People by irrelevant and common books in 9.8 cause they most likely trying to complete a set...That's why I got $350 for a Conan The Barbarian #250 haha He emailed me and told me he needed it for his run.
  9. I dunno, the title seems to be doing pretty well . . . Well yeah, throw a common book in a 9.8 slab and it will sell. It's all common, sure it'll sell, but it doesn't always sell enough for a profit.
  10. Even if this is the "Copper's Heating/Selling Well on Ebay" thread I was saying it’s a shame they are not known and appreciated. I wasn’t thinking about the value. Also, I was talking of books up to 1991 max. (and so the very early Wolverine, in this case) – most of the following years' productions were just bad. I would not pay $0.50 myself for most of what Marvel published in the 1990s. i have two kids, a big mortgage, and a job that doesn't pay that well (considering where i live). i spend 97% of my waking hours stressed about money and 93% of my dream-time as well. Find something that makes you money other than your job.
  11. I used to think this book in 9.4 would just take right off, it never did. Sold mine and bought artwork glad I did ha
  12. the new blue and grey one from sideshow
  13. I remember when this probation was in the works and being made, I thought it was stupid and 15 years later I still think it is, The buyer has a right to change his/her own mind. Ever walk into your local grocery store, drop something in your cart then when you get to the check out you put it back instead of buying? Same thing. The store doesn't "black list" you. If the buyer doesn't want to buy it and gets cold feet, or if the seller gets cold feet at the last second, neither should be put on a list for it to "warn other members" The whole system set up here is absurd. CGC forum states that they aren't responsible in any transactions that take place, but they'll put you on a list? Give me a break.
  14. For the price tag, I'm they look great. Can't be any worse than the outdated garbage we all use now.
  15. I wonder how well that would work? That scanner looks promising. The video shows them scanning slabbed baseball cards. Hardcover books were held open and scanned. As the pages were turned, the scanner automatically detected it and scanned afterwards. The software was used to edit out the fingers that got in the picture. No more need to press a book down flat on a glass screen. Guess I need to start saving some money. And it's fast! I'd love to get one.
  16. I wonder how well that would work? You could scan 2 raw books at once
  17. This would be the scanner to get!! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=16P-000A-00009&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Specialized+Scanners-_-16P-000A-00009&gclid=Cj0KEQjwgeuuBRCiwpD0hP3Cg4kBEiQAHflm1oppr2HflAkneWlOr0kRhM89oGN0SsOBZmLFbzMY1GsaAnpm8P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds
  18. Maybe because he uses these boards to advertise his eBay offerings? So what? It's called marketing.
