  1. Throw it in a toaster oven for 6 minutes at 200F.
  2. Not really. There's always exceptions, but there's nothing that makes then stand out over the test of time. Most of their runs are low printings because that's what's the market demand is. That being said, you likely wouldn't have too much trouble moving them on Ebay or a Facebook fan group.
  3. You put one forever stamp on a 10 ounce envelope?
  4. USPS processes close to 5,000 pieces of mail per second. Mail gets lost due to missed scans of tracking codes. Sometimes it's computer error, sometimes it's human error.
  5. There's a few Briva3's as well. Doesn't look like any high values though. https://www.psacard.com/cert/58169513
  6. Just found this. Looks like our buddy Zaneglor also dealt in graded cards. https://www.psacard.com/cert/53870460 (Mike, hopefully I can post this since it's a competitor's card.)
  7. And his neck is on the right half of his body.
  8. The more I stare at this panel the more it disturbs me.
  9. There are a decent amount of SS books on that list. Looking more at the list, I suspect the seller probably did sell legit books at one point. A profit is a profit.
  10. 1288075-001 Amazing Spider-Man #121 (Signed & "RIP GWEN" by Gerry Conway & signed by Stan Lee on 2/28/15) 1973 9.8 (Signature) Really curious about this one. They were scamming SS books too?
  11. ComicsPro edition. They were handed out to comic shops that attended it. I remember when these came out, they weren't particularly hard to find or expensive on the reseller market. A cool piece, but I wouldn't call it a hot ticket item.
  12. It looks like the videos have been pulled. I won't go into detail here for obvious reasons, but it was scary how low tech it was to remove the inner well was from the outer well.
  13. I would say the biggest takeaway from all of it is the discovery of how easy it is to swap a comic in a slab. I see this really being a big issue on modern swaps of 9.6 to 9.8 comics in the future.
  14. It's very likely a civil case over a criminal one. CGC will go after this person for monetary damages for damaging their reputation. If the individual resubmitted these comics for a reholders, it's 100% on them to confirm it's still the same grade. The only reason CGC is refunding people is because they failed their guarantee and got caught. Criminal charges would mean they'd have to prove they swapped the comics which is doubtful CGC can. Authorities could maybe go after them if they replaced the comic and didn't resubmit for a reholder, but I still think it's unlikely. In the end CGC will make money off this by selling a new super tamper proof case that will only cost you $50 a piece.
  15. Seeing how 99%+ of store exclusives go for cheaper than retail a year later, I think we know the answer to that already. Pure pump and dump.
  16. CGC won't go after this guy publicly. Why? Because if it goes to court, then it's public record how flawed their certification is. It also will publicly show how to tamper with their cases. Sure their reputation is tarnished right now, but it's in their best interest to quietly solve the problem without any acknowledgement there was one in the first place. Keep in mind this doesn't just affect CGC, this affects ALL their sister compay's reputations too. I suspect down the line we will see the end of reholdering without regrading. In the end that's more profitable for them anyway.
  17. I highly doubt CGC will give us details or will admit their security measures have been compromised. About as much as I expect to see is simply Mike popping in to say, "We're looking into it."
  18. In that same submission he also got back: 2x ASM 300 9.8s, 1x Secret Wars 8 9.8, and 2x X-Men 266 9.8s. (Non MJers) They are currently selling an X-Men 266 9.8 MJ and a Secret Wars 8 9.8 MJ. Those do however, look like potential 9.8s from the photos.
  19. Only if CGC looks up the comic. That's certainly obscure enough they may not know the current FMV.
  20. Where the N lands in Spider-Man at the edge of the book is a dead giveaway it's a different book.
