  1. I think they forgot the scuffs and plastic shards in that. Also, anyone else find it weird Comics is not centered?
  2. I think the more important question is, how long do they look when they aren't being observed?
  3. My thoughts too. Sounds like a remnant from an old style label or something.
  4. I believe it's generally around 50.
  5. I had some books that were well past the 14 day mark they were okay fixing a few months back including atrocious newton rings. Another was 2 years old and not an original submission (debris). I had to hold off on sending due to some personal issues taking over my life around the same time, so knowing I could follow up later, I put it lower on my priority. Followed up about two months ago and they denied me on all. I had to argue about their stated policy along with my prior conversation before they let me send in some. In the end I was still denied one which was previously approved. So yeah, the fact they're 180ing on their stated policy is a problem.
  6. I know this thread is starting to beat the dead horse, but I feel the problem isn't just about newton rings. It's about how 6 months ago CGC did the right thing and said they'd own up and fix their problems for free. Then 6 months later they do a complete 180 turnaround and basically give the whole community a giant FU.
  7. Who wants to bet the new return shipping will be the slowest possible method to ensure it takes over 14 days. Also noticed it says received, not delivered. So it can be delivered, but they can just not process it received for two weeks. Once my credit is drained, I'm definitely done submitting.
  8. It's possible they changed it. They definitely took out the fees with the GSP.
  9. Pretty sure eBay also charges you an additional 3-4% in currency fees to process these.
  10. Let's not forget we've had like 1.5 original characters from comics show up on the screen.
  11. Actually I'll be curious to see if these are to help with QC. If you can see the scans before they ship, hopefully they can correct QC issues before they go out. They may also be able to automate label issues if basic AI can scan and read a label and compare existing pictures in a database.
  12. Nice case scratch on the bottom right there.
  13. 3 Book Modern ME: Delivered 04/07 Received 04/18 Shipped 04/27
  14. When I needed a policy asap I called them up and had it that day. So they'll definitely do it quick if you need it.
  15. Standard modern in bubble wrap encased in two 11x14 pieces of corrugated cardboard is about 1lb 14oz. Box filler adds another 1-3oz depending on what it is. You'll lose up to $5 if you break the 2lb barrier, so keep it under if you can.
  16. eBay fees are actually higher. If it sells for $100 and the buyer pays $14 for shipping plus 6% tax, your fees are $16.36, or basically 16.50%. I will also always factor in about $1 in shipping materials too. So your profit is now about $22.50.
  17. I love how you felt it necessary to comment on a 17 month old post about someone's grammar.
  18. I was in informed on a prior submission about a year ago that's "normal".
  19. Just noticed that Gmail sends offers sent to me from MCS to my spam folder. Just missed a bunch of sales due to that. Ugh. Make sure you set up a not spam filter for their email if you're consigning.
  20. To me I'd say this is a CYA sort of tactic. It's better to claim long than to claim short. It's also possible they just never updated their website from a year ago to reflect the changes.
