  1. That finale fight's CGI... Oof. Might be the worst ever in a Marvel movie/show.
  2. The same place Tosin went with Black Panther. If you're smart, get out now. The only hype is coming from people trying to make a buck off the clueless
  3. You get one bill after prescreen has done its thing.
  4. This may come to shock to all the GenX/Boomer white males here, but this movie was not made for your demographic.
  5. These covers have been flooded way too heavily with virtually no changes to the content. I expect a huge tanking in value over the next 12 months.
  6. Thanks all for the suggestions. Not sure why I didn't think of a library, but I may try that. I also messed around with Microsoft Lens, and overall I think it worked well too. For some reason I'm only getting 500 kilobyte files with about a 4k resolution camera though. Seems a bit smaller size than it should be.
  7. I've used about every consignment/auction house. Best is MCS overall. Shortboxed is fine, but it feels like it doesn't sell quick it's not going to sell. The only thing I'd say its better than MCS for is selling slightly obscurer books where it's easier to get those accidental or unintended views on SB versus MCS.
  8. I'd like to get scans of some of the OA I have, but don't have a scanner to do it. I tried using the photocopier at a Staples, but the results turned out utter garbage. Anyone have any other ideas or experience with this?
  9. What the title says. How much weight are they rated for with the cardboard inserts?
  10. There are no comic variants directly related to this movie right? Disney Marvel is being their usual spiteful selves?
  11. Slab boxes are 3 high I believe. I'd assume the CGC boxes are probably about the same.
  12. He basically realized he didn't have time so he outsourced it.
  13. I sold a comic for $114 on a recent MCS auction that I had a duplicate of for BIN on MCS for $90, so that's definitely true. Both same grade.
  14. It literally says on their website there are security cameras at receiving for opening. So that's BS. Unless of course their security cameras aren't actually turned on which I would fully believe at this point.
  15. I'm curious, from a close up perspective does it look like it got folded back during slabbing or is it folded like it would with the weight of a heat press? I'd assume slabbing, but nowadays...
  16. The grade date is 2000. Chances are the grader notes were a lot more detailed then and that's to show why it wasn't a 10. Or in the reholder they damaged the comic and just made a note of it.
  17. Only to play devils advocate, if you're the USPS guy delivering to Heritage, you're definitely going to be under a microscope. My guess would be someone stealing from a parked truck. I'd also be shocked if USPS admitted theft.
  18. I've learned to just write in Sharpie directly on the returned ME slab what the problem is so it's very obvious.
  19. My guess it was left deliberately vague and up for interpretation. I imagine it's 14 days from contact for those that push back, and 14 days to back in CGC's hands for those for that don't. I remember having to argue with CS over an ME newton issue about a year ago because they said it wasn't returnable, and the only reason they allowed it was because I had literally link them the updated policy posted on these forums.
  20. If you're CGC you just have to hope the customer doesn't inspect it closely for two weeks.
  21. 100% agree. That's a very dangerous precedent they're setting. If anything it should be a refund AND credit.
  22. Loved it, my only complaint was some of the audio was really bad in my screening. Apparently this is not just an isolated screening incident. I couldn't understand pretty much any of what Gwen was saying when she was narrating. It was a Dolby Atmos screening too that felt like I was missing the whole right audio channel.
