  1. Is that why the Miller books were so pricey in 2002-2004? It's kind of shocking how much the GPA of those books have fallen since 2002. But yeah, I'm buying!!
  2. Dumb question, Roy: because the pool is smaller (those with deep pockets)? It seems expensive rate stuff just gets snatched up immediately.
  3. This pretty much sums it up. This is an honest question: do copies of action 1 and tec 27 sit on the market for long? I think there has been a tec 27 sitting around on either CL or CC for awhile now. Or I could be wrong.
  4. My wife says I can get another Safe Box! This time at City National Bank. More info to follow on their boxes and their operational policies!
  5. It's wise to have a Bank Safe Deposit Box for comics and other valuables. It's fun to learn about their history, too. I just want to make friends and share my Bank Safe Deposit Box knowledge with others.
  6. There's a store in Portland Oregon like that. Acmes??? It's super cool with back issues. Being a gas mask tho. Owner smokes like a chimney.
  7. That what my local LCS guy says. "Bank Safe Deposit boxes in Japan" makes me curious how Japan bank safe boxes are different then US boxes.
  8. Man those books have taken a tumble $-wise since 2002.
  9. I'm reading spiderman 1-100 and I'm digging it.
  10. That's a very astute observation.
  11. That's beyond insane. Someone is beyond delusional. This (AF15 stuff) makes no sense whatsoever. I'm all for comics increasing in value but something is seriously wrong here.
  12. Why does it say highest offer 40k but you have the highest offer at 15k
  13. I'm reading that storyline now for the first time in The Spider-Man omnibus. It's pretty great. Gwen Stacey is hot!
  14. Does anyone think there will come a time when the run collectors will have their revenge? A time when filler books will be expensive and tough to find/acquire?
  15. does that stan lee stuff in the yellow cost extra?
  16. Be in that part of the world soon. Can't wait to see what the Man-In-The-Middle-Of-Nowhere has. I worry about his health but when I spoke with him on the phone, he sounds super-alert and chipper and is looking forward to visit.
  17. I'm sorry. I'm working on becoming a better person. It's a daily struggle. Can't wait for more pics!
  18. Are we allowed to ask what you paid and the specifics of deal? I guess that's nosey. Sorry.
  19. Didn't Miller have to get going and get a following before 158 could be seen as of value? It doesn't make sense that 158 was of value out-of-the-gate. I wasn't collecting back then so I have no first hand knowledge and as always, I'm probably wrong.
  20. that's exactly correct. that's what the better GAs were going for at the 1964 NYC Con
