  1. do you have a kate mulgrew, i was so tempted to buy one years ago.
  2. i thought you just had to login to avoid the inactivity. they sent an email about it before it became effective.
  3. are you just counting books that chris got done? cause i bought some from carlos (gothamcentral i think), after the signing. so maybe there’s more than you thought? sorry, don’t mean to derail your sales thread rich. maybe we can discuss in the signature forum
  4. "There are less than 7 CGC signature series out there to authenticate his signature. All in black hole collections." really, there are only 7 CGC signature series with mazzuccelli? i thought there was more.
  5. if i choose to receive the funds from a sale as an account credit, can i issue a check at any time in any amount? is there a cost to having a check issued and sent to me? e.g. if my account has 5k, can i request a check for 1k every month for 5 months?
  6. how do they send you your money? by cheque? e-transfer? i’m in canada too and wondering how you receive the funds? what if it’s a large amt? won’t a large deposit to your bank acct flag the ccra? are they gonna want to call it income and come after you for taxes?
  7. not sure if anyone else here collects anything other than comics, but with all the recent news, i think i’m going to close out my pwcc vault and not do business with them again. only problem is with shipping and customs charges, it’s going to cost me a lot of money just to get my cards back to me.
  8. for slabs i look for the old old labels or the old new labels. with ccs and the relative ease and affordability of pressing, i feel like most slabbed books these days in the new new labels have been pressed.
  9. felt like i overpaid for this at the time ($750 in 2009), but it’s signed on my wedding day and then again on my birthday.
  10. i was hoarding this book about 15 years ago. i wanted a copy in every grade. i ended up with about 15 copies, the highest a cgc 9.0. to me, the prices are still fixed there from that time. 9.8s are $10k 9.4s are $1800 9.2s are $1200 9.0s are $900 8.5s are $800 8.0s are $600 7.5s are $475 6.5s are $325 it was rare to see copies 3.0 or lower. incredible how much this book has gone up.
  11. it’s a good experiment and interesting result. his forged signature wasn’t even that good, it was missing a 2nd loop i think. i don’t own any cbcs yellow labels and now i will stay away from them.
  12. i like newsstands. depending on the book i may be willing to pay a bit more, but not much more.
