  1. A few upgrades The 122 up froma 5.5 The 142 up from a 7.0
  2. The new search terms with Lee stringer art pulled up similar but idk if it's really Alan Moore or Alan Davis 😂. But that's the closest we've come! Kudos!
  3. hmmmm I want to say that I too ran into the scale posted somewhere.... But this is relatively new for websites promoting auctions I assume....
  4. How was it determined? The scale I mean, was it open to the public to vote?
  5. Seems I remember when you bought the pinball and posted here, less rust than all that it turned out or I'm guessing. Still works as a bench table though. Nice! 👍
  6. I still kept bother My Noble Causes Family Secrets #3 cgc that are crazy cheap as a 1st cameo appearance, compared to what the 1st full appearance of Invincible goes for I don't think @Oxdaddydid to bad, or I don't think the seller was a "scammer", but using tips in my last post and that others have mentioned will give him an idea of where we're coming from or at the very least explain our answers. They did alright, just do the research now, with some estimates from examples in spare a grade part of the forum. Liniked earlier, that way when he goes to buy again, he'll have a better idea! or at least be more confident and comforted
  7. ya I read up real quick, if original poster, it would be best if he posted actual scans from a printer in this part of the forum... Hey buddy, can you spare a grade? - CGC Comic Book Collectors Chat Boards (cgccomics.com) Scans of the books he bought, scans from a printer/scanner type. People will give him feedback after seeing both front and back, explaining to him the difference between comic and card grading, which may be similar but comics may have more "factors to consider!" I got the Sandman #1 CGC 9.6 priced at $250 Marvel Fumetti Book #1 CGC 9.8 , which is a Stan Lee photo cover, along with photos on the cover of the rest of the bullpen. And a double, which is now my under-copy of Star Wars #68 it's a tough break! I know of those 26 slabs I "traded" some would be a "hard sale or break even" market point, so I was willing to take the $125 loss for the LCS to sell them easier. Then avoiding the Ebay Sales tax form not sent, for stuff I wouldn't have made "profit" on, making a "tax form" just more "work" to explain I didn't owe anything And FYI this is the Invincible that I kept, which cost me $80, should sell eventually for at least $300, which is profit even after fees
  8. @Point Five Very true! @ADAMANTIUM calls losing $100 in collecting comics a pretty good Tuesday! What are you? A person from the future 😜 Read on if you dare 🤣 syntax and sentences. I just traded something like 26 invincible slabs, 2X8.5's, 4X9.0's and the rest between 9.2/9.6! That the LCS owner said himself was, "about $800 value?" For their 3 slabs priced at $250, $85&$80, even if they had charged me tax? It would have only equaled $449 that I got worth of stuff! The cost of the slabs for me was $562, but I threw in the $15 cgc box I brought the slabs in with so call it $575! Loss $125 I didn't bring in the three to four I have left, which were the 9.8 or NM variants that I'll make that $125 loss back and make $150 profit, but pretty spot on @Comics4All Ps. I have no idea what this thread is about 😂😆
  9. We get to start the rush to go,go,go and buy buy,buy this weekend! We get to shop and perhaps learn other interests Gifs are for those who haven't watched tmnt in a while, reference
  10. It's the boards filler for a similar present tense of the word, so when you see the actual word it is actually masking that the boards moderator talks about. Insert Debbie downer gif.
  11. Lol is right, I was tempted to respond but thought naw haha I was specific, but then felt dirty or guilty after tried to list all ranges, idk.
  12. And that's part of why this country is so effed up right now. "PART" I say!! This story is brutal. Kids murdering kids, and these books were published by the Scholastic Press. They were marketed to Jr. High kids. Ya there were some right next to us, and pg 13 was the "right rating" I suppose, but this wasn't like TMNT or something laughy, it was pretty psychological for under 13... I awaited any reactions, but the audience jumped a few times at surprises, and while nothing was overly gruesome (that I remember) it was a very psychological based
  13. well due to the "mullet" I'd say it is around or just after the death of superman, if that narrows the search, or it might be "terms" in a search that help?
  14. I don’t think they’re doing onsite at any shows lately. I haven’t seen it listed. Ya that seems right, but Lord willing trying to keep it fresh "in the minds" just in case. I know there is a market for it, I've yet to enjoy such event though...
  15. The live feed from the LA premiere showed the books author, and I didn't read it, but she was saying that it kept her intention. I will say this, it was pg 13 and kids were there as young as 7-10, with there parents and both saying how they'd seen all the hunger games and were excited! For a late night showing that ended about 10:30 central time on school night? Lol 😂 I thought it was dedicated!
  16. No worries. Thanks for looking into it though 😉 worth a shot!
  17. That was really good! Unfortunately my prescreen had the live from LA premiere, movie didn't start until 8pm as a result, and the movie itself was two and a half hours long Still really good
  18. Then he asked for an example, which I assume means screenshots
  19. I have recently this year tried Ollie's... I'm in the board exchange.. gift exchange. But wouldn't know what figures are sought after at Ollies unless we got specific, and if the time came I could revisit this thread but 😂 I mostly hang here because I think it's a cool subject matter, while not ever collecting most of it myself. I have, but not nearly enough to warrant anything haha If it was specifically tailored to an individual then I have the Ollie's and Ross option near by me enough.
  20. I'll stay out of it though, as I seem to add third party references 😀😉 no third wheel for me
  21. To be fair Mike was right in that it would only be two shipments 20 books reg label. 1st shipment 3 wolverine and two Spidey. 2nd shipment. Cgc mike was saying labels by themselves can all go in one shipment, which always has, and they didn't see a problem with being able to, just add the five books, upon adding the books add the label option for each individual of the five. No worries but was trying to help 😂
