30 years since the Return of Superman
ADAMANTIUM replied to RedKryptoniteSuperman's topic in Modern Age Comic Books
@Iconic1s @Brandon Shepherd #freethemullet But I think this isn't totally new, or there have been some recently enough , that I believe these two tags whom might chime in have had their fill. Idk -
Well, it only took 25 years... Minor Grail Set complete
ADAMANTIUM replied to Shadow's topic in Comics General
I will say as nearing completion comes, it would seem easy (for me) to chicken out and waste away that I was determined to begin with. Almost morbidly I know. Not for lack of passion, but finally doing the tally of cost, and or cost of the last bit needed to complete. Kind of a chickens before they hatch but Lord! So many chickens! Glad you kept the passion! Are they cgc or in the registry at all? -

That is very awesome! As someone whom is close to completing only a 59 book X-men Saga run myself, it takes a bunch time, patience, and pondering to complete! Got to be very determined. Congratulations -

Ok so i will continue to close my eyes on Marvel stuff for a long time... They're dead in an alternate timeline, having to do with the phoenix run.... They set it up for the current X-men as a plot device for something to avoid, so the written and animated series as they see this premonition, it gave them something in the current timeline to "try and avoid or keep from happening!"

Porky, Daffy and Bugs vs Mickey, Donald and Goofy
ADAMANTIUM replied to Senormac's topic in Comics General
Isn't the Animaniacs Warner Brothers and therefore similarly Looney Tunes? Probably not specifically but I remember watching that new, and it hit home. Looney Tunes were on reruns, but you "knew you were watching older reruns," if that makes sense, not the same hit at home. Idk or even know where to watch cartoons, except for Looney Tunes which is ironic, and I mean on reg TV with no cable. Looney is on metrics svengoolie channel in the morning. There are Bible cartoons and PBS cartoons. That about sums it up for no cable and or not counting streaming -
Comiclink, Comic Connect, Heritage, etcetera... Wins...

It's partly why I asked too I'd be interested in what's available and or if I could participate like a vote. I'm sure if it were public nothing would be perfect, but who would just go to vote up drek? I know they would, but it's unfortunate. Tangent. Would be nice to see recommendations of what people read and like, rather than just googling "good read comics" -
If you're doing the registry 😄😜 use a screenshot of his social media post for the back cover picture 😂 Or don't, haha, but it does make for a good story! Nice though! He at least always used a marker with full ink!
