It could have been removed solely on the fact that it had nothing to do with comics.
I feel that is why most people were upset with his posts

It's still a nice book
I had problems with newton's on moderns that got reslabbed and look decent, since then I've had absolutely no problems lately with non-moderns. I'll get some moderns back in a while from being SS'd
but none of them where as all white as that.
You should be brave and reholder for us to be our hero!!!

I figured I'd post my Jae Lee Punisher sketch cover. Look familiar?
I see what your saying
Just curious, but when did you get that graded? I know that it is an all white cover but newton rings shouldn't be that bad....

AH reread it! first Legacy then a pick up of numbering...
-
Question: it wasn't clear to me
so they're leaving the other books to run their course but taking up with Legacy where the originals left off, right? or something to that effect..?
Nice that they'll bring back the corner box, sounds corney but it'll definitely seem different and hopefully nostalgia will kick in

Look at that stupid comic book getting in the way of all those cool sigs
Maybe they should have gotten a tatoo
That was the first time I'd ever seen that was at the last Fan Expo Dallas, two rows of tatoo artists and bare legs and backs of people going ow ow ow ow ouch

I think he saw his exclusives selling out recently and thought he could make a little more on them. Well, making them too often, reduction to VIPs and increased print run = not selling out. Maybe he is fine with it though. He is the one who sees the sales numbers and not us.
In his personal life, if you think it has anything to do with it:
SpoilerHe posted on Facebook that he just proposed recently and showed pictures of it in time square in NY, Not trying to pluck a nerve but maybe he was going to pay off some bills with it idk js

Thanks for posting that. Oh man that's a hot mess
I can't read all of it
I see that it says "Hulk Smash" and "Spiderman--something something.... has anyone caught a close up of the label to see what it's supposed to read?

Awesome
I'm lost on some of the older yet iconic artist's and how they'd promote. I've seen stories of George Perez and he seems a decent person, who is quick to be personable. Perhaps you could add the name Denise to the google search....if you haven't already.... I personally don't have knowledge but it is curious, I wonder who it says Denise was? if in fact the book(s?) were personalized could have been a conbook that was sold and and signed at the same time

Not sure myself, but that looks interesting !!
I wonder if it was an exclusive to be so limited? idk what kind of marketing they had back then though....

I absolutely agree, I have nothing against new people I enjoy them. My post had nothing to do with the fact that he was "new", I really thought that he was not "new" at all.
But I really don't love arguing, so I'm going to take this as a sign and go back to another channel;)
I apologize if I upset you.
You have a big heart, I for one appreciate you!! I enjoy comradery, but your right, even in jest things must be handled professionally in a public forum, anyway I too hope no one is misunderstood in all this. Till then may the boards be forever in you favor

That's some heavy duty staples
the most that I had seen was 4, huh, speaking of weirdness
I assume this listing is manufactured and not the way that it came off the press....

Reason I want it is that it speaks a story of history. And I wasn't able to grab a regular edition. This was going to be my only way of acquiring it unless I shell out enormous amounts of money or wait a long period of time for the prices to come down.
And if the book turns out to be hot, that might not happen.
If you had it CGC'd I doubt that it would be noted on the label. Idk if that is anything someone would want btw, just saying imo it would be hard to keep nice throughout the years and hard to show if in a CGC case.....

My LCS has stated several times to potential sellers, this isn't Wells Fargo or we already have too much of that in stock.....
Other's who have some nice things mixed in with drek (so to speak) are just as ornery....I wonder sometimes if people such as these don't research either though.
On the off chance I can get an answer (as it may vary) what percentage of retail does one offer these sellers if they do have something you want?
or is there a standard? 40-60% depending on what they'll take? or does it depend on what the buyer will potentially do with it? cost of slab, ebay--shipping/fees, etc.
Back to the topic at hand, if it's worth it, my response would be: "What you have is nice! but wouldn't sell fast enough for me to make it worth it." idk just a shot in the dark...

I like skyblue and paddymc, I also like Marwood and I for someone to shoot drivel with
I think were all too bored today! and that got Marwood & I to try to incite some posts.
My apologies to all board members if my frivality was misplaced on a board meant for comics
The only thing that I see is a handful of members conversing with Marwood & I especially on days when there are absolutely no new posts....I appreciated the attempts at humor inbetween classes
While I do see the "embarrassment" post as a little to far and over the top, it wasn't directed toward anyone who couldn't help themselves, Architect would have informed Marwood & I to be more civil
Sometimes asking people to calm down or even settle down has the opposite effect
@Marwood & I don't cause such a kerfuffle

Does look nice

I agree to leave it alone

Keep in mind a seller who sells a book for $600 is already taking about a $60 hit on final value fees and you want them to suck up the postage fees on top of that.
I tried doing several listings with free shipping and adding the postage amount to the BIN, but found that it didn't make much difference. Sometimes when I would relist an item and lower the BIN and add in the postage, that item that hadn't sold for a couple months suddenly sold.
Another reason for not doing free shipping is tax time. When it's time to do taxes, it's a lot easier to add up what the items sold for and not worry about deducting the postage amount from the total.
How much $$ are we talking would result in you having to report income from internet sales? Do you have to have say an Ebay Store? A business or such? Does someone who has none of that or joeblow have to pay taxes on internet sales??
FYI this may be common knowledge but as I haven't ever sold via the internet, I'm at a loss...

For a couple of dollars I got those: "True Believers" Giant Size Xmen #1 and Xmen #1 Reprints, I read them! Overall well thought out, it was nice to read them for the first time back to back and see a kind of progression,
