  1. http://fanexpodallas.com/schedule/ This is the schedule progam, in it shows the tables and #'s, it's small print and hard to manage... @mysterio
  2. I believe that they've now sent out an email with this info...at HALL D from 11 - 8pm on Thursday 9am-6pm FRI 9am-6pm SAT 9am-3pm SUN between these times to pick up wrist bands
  3. I also tried to find CGC's booth in the program and didn't see it. It may be obvious once there, but: Does anyone have CGC's booth #??
  4. Then I might do that, is the form pretty straightforward? I mean for first timers? The LCS was charging me like $40 per modern, so I'd probably save some money on my own account but haven't worked out the math, for as mentioned: bubble rap, cardboard, shipping to and from, what insurane etc. It just always seems a hassle, I know you get some kind of percentage discount though so (don't laugh or scold I'm a little embarrased about the whole thing) I'm probably losing money at the LCS...
  5. I don't know, I should but I don't send that much and my LCS only charges me what they're charged. I haven't had the will to submit on my own or to get my own account. Whenever, I get money enough to buy the level of CGC I want, I end up spending it on my collection. Plus I don't sell, lame excuse, but I'm not familiar with packaging etc. I am a little nervous to do it on my own, because I've been satisfied with the LCS and have been using them for a couple of years. I know that I should
  6. Mine were submitted to CCS through LCS in early January and then on to CGC, they got to be a CGC by now, right? Well time to call the LCS, it was the longest teir TAT. If CGC is moving quickly should be soon. Its been 10 1/2 to 11 1/2 weeks
  7. Thanks I'm hoping for the best should post when they all get back from SS and CGC, don't know how long it will take
  8. I don't know if this is an appropriate question but here goes: Did they do this type of grading so that once graded and having the sticker, people can show what is a 9.6, 9.8, 6.0 etc, so people can then take pictures and compare to other graded company items.....?
  9. I'm still going with 6.0 to 6.5 depending on what the inside looks like. The subscription crease doesn't bother me to much, but it might drop it to 5.0 to 5.5. Looks like the crease doesn't break color all the way down, so nice mid-grade copy oh I forot the stain, I'll stick to 5.0 to 5.5
  10. PGM-Xmen 266 This is the one I'll bring to the con this weekend to be signed by Jim Lee, looks like maybe a little soft corner at top left of spine; great centering though and 3 sharp corners any help appreciated
  11. how much do you charge for your services I found one raw, didn't press it though, thought it'd come back in the 9's at worst 8.5, came back 8.0 even those who held it in hand raw were surprised.....plus at LCS nearly every copy they've had for a while has been priced at $300 raw......
  12. I just realized that I have copies of Wolverine: Limited Series 1982 that I never read that are signed (not graded nor COA, another story) but rather than risk not making my money back on those, I went and bought reader (so called) copies today for $10 in short I was embarrased that I had never read the Wolverine Limited Series of 1982 Frank Miller wahoo!!
  13. I went back and bought them since the copies that I had previiously are signed I can use these as reader copies, silver lining and all
  14. I just went by my LCS and they had reader copies (so called) of the Wolverine: Limited Series 1982, 1-4 for $15, they were packaged in a bundle.... I did't buy them idk my signed ones may end up being my readers, but I spent $102 on them way back when....
  15. Your seriously going for the gold on the Punisher
  16. Hi everyone I'm late to the party, and evidently first prints are something else, to be tallied as such! As first prints are expensive, are 2nd prints worth their salt for TMNT #1? I've just started to research and could use some simple advice, if it is simple. I see at the LCS TMNT's #3 in VF for about $40 and they're sized differently than modern comics. Are they Magazines? or is that what you Sub them under? at what number do they stop being this size #5? LCS also had a #4 for cheap, and of course it's the type of LCS that I don't know what print they are ie 1st 2nd 4th. Also of 1-4 which have multiple prints... idk this is a lot to ask and I understand it's probably common knowledge around here, so if anyone feels the need to pm me rather than take up space here I understand I just hope that I could rap my head around it....and get some knowledge
  17. How about this, I got back into comics, and bought Wolverine the Limited Series #'s 2,3,4 signed by Len Wein on the cover raw. Then I bought #1 and had it signed by Chris Claremont on the cover raw So none of them are CGC'd and not a COA in sight, I could go to Voldermort but they're not worth the price in value, $25 to verify a sig, what a insufficent person without empathy I was, they are, ery'ting is pffft
  18. Now a days I still don't know what's going on sooooooo make of it what you will
  19. I signed up for a subscripton of Spiderman Classics when I was young, which is like Marvel Tales, reprints but specifically Spiderman. It had Stan writing, which was first appearances of characters so I felt like I was getting the "full" story. Amazing Spiderman around #170 seemed, when I read it, to be in the middle of what was going on and I was to young to connect the dots. I'm sure the guy has done other stuff, but specifically on the Spiderman, it left a bad taste in my mouth.
  20. i'm just glad that I'M not the but of your jokes, oh no did I step in it?
