  1. If this was the main QC thread, it's been mentioned, but don't go through the slab to alleviate pressure with a backing board I make my own scratches with that one! If possible covering that with a bag, and using a bag and board sounds plausible. Again thickness a factor!
  2. I appreciate you being candid and patient, as that IS unfortunate . I know covers like that when it is all black or one color that doesn't divide up or under mine the prism effect are the hardest offenders. That's not your fault though, as we should collect what we love, such is the hobby. I can only think that as these are collected that "cgc has seen this 'type' before", and I'd hope they wouldn't give up. Idk how many there are but is "typical" of what I see most being sent back, not sure of a "fix" for it myself so I empathize that these are stand outs in effect!
  3. Slowly waiting on Bagley, but before months end I'm assured. Jim Lee was undoable this go around. Not disappointed, but I did notice there were more options this go around. I still don't know all the dynamics or examples plainly, as I paid for a remarque and last I did it and it was more than I thought it would be. A quarter of a page almost head. I guess the rest is torso arm or appendage options etc. I was so satisfied though! It was like the lowest option too, remarque. I say if you sent in a blank comic with enough room in the window bag, I'd think it'd make you happy, and depending on affordability for each individual or if you want multiples. It is on the high end at $500+ or so for remarque only, but I was impressed. Now if onky Campbell would follow!
  4. That and many many many things could occur. Not saying this happened, but there "could have been a spec of unhappy rings, denied a me, then pressed the slab together to make them worse and post here". Not shouting conspiracy but with the copper forum of newish posters posting competition slabs @CGC Mike IT doesn't sound out of the possibility for something fishy I know plenty, I mean plenty in the qc thread that have been approved for "me", and this seems out of the ordinary. I'm not pointing fingers, but it's in its own thread rather that the qc thread, plus all other mentioned, just doesn't jive imo Hope I'm yay or nay wrong cause these as they stand should qualify, and I hope he or she is able.
  5. Thats what i was saying and my understanding as well. Its confusing when the answer in the email states they're "are in all slabs, some come and go, get better get worse, but are expected" Hindsight in the older slabs i DO remember them going away on their own, or lessoning. That part is true, but with books like these it may be hard to believe it possible But was why i was concerned on why have a offer of even a possible "me" if this is acceptable. Idk doesnt jive imo
  6. We'll why even have a "me?" Not to get technical but thank you for understanding @KBSKards you can edit out your name in the email if you need to. Just if you're going to accept mechanical error, I can't see how these don't qualify, unless something is fishy. If "these don't qualify!?!" Exactly "what does?" Idk
  7. I'd love to see the sceenshot, if available, of them denying this request? I haven't experienced this level, but I'm not sure they word it as a straight denial or what they even consider it as... ie acceptable or minor. I'm not sure I believe given cgc reputation that they've denied this level. Idk that it changed if so, they still approve them.
  8. Awesome! The person who I got it from mentioned that but didn't go into detail. It's appreciated! I think whom he got it from had tried, but my friend wasn't too worried in grade. While I agree it may look 9.2/9.4, it's hard to say. I put paper on the back when I scanned, but idk if it helped to see the edges... Thanks again
  9. Idk about the "n" apparently... would it have impacted if not erased? No worries on it, was just curious to learn.
  10. When this ASM Aussie variant of #361 was entered it got a base score in 9.8 of the usual 32 or whatnot, so my question(s)?: Do the added books only get a base score until the next scoring adjustments? Was there a factor in of sales or importance when it was added, or just nothing on GPA? It just made me curious for future reference when requesting ad ons, like does nothing get added to the registry with a up to date score or until "adjustments twice a year?" I can see how an Australian variant may be the hesitation, but wanted to double check and since a 9.2 sold, I can obviously wait for adjustments but since it sold in "9.2" and the base is now 9.0/9.2? confusing, just saying 950 AUD, which is $600 usd is nothing to sneeze at but it lead to "other questions" about formalities that I was curious of @wytshus
  11. Just not a lot of sales! I sent this off to be signed by Bagley, and it hasn't happened yet, although the deadline was the July 21st. Hoping or it has been suggested to be at the end of August, then with press 8 weeks out threading the needle will be to just not worry Anyway, bumping this thread to see if with fresh eyes everyone is still of the same opinion or new opinions from anyone?
  12. @CGC Mike Does anyone know why there is an "extra line" under my notes that "doesn't have all the same info?" for my 9.2? just it was signed AND sketched by both Campbell and Eastman but on different dates If I sent this in would it cause a problem with pure yellow label? It is not on my 4.5 so was curious
  13. No worries. Here is "an" example of a Newsstand barcode and the thread you might have meant to post in. Sometimes one thread gets bumped over the other and can accidentally get mistaken for each other.
  14. I saw the blue beetle movie last night. They handed out posters and a "special edition" of graduation day beetle #1, it was actually in an app with a notation; however, the "special edition wasn't notated in the app.
